Re: supercharger help

Prochargers are really good, and I believe they make a kit for a TBI.

Re: supercharger help

I think a TBI could even be bolted on a roots type supercharger. The real question with a TBI is how to supply enough fuel. Even the big 454 injectors will have trouble feeding a blown 350.

i run a procharger on my tbi car (which they do not make a kit) i used the tpi kit and added a carb hat and it works great with stock injectors im running 11.5 to 1 air feul ratio and thats with the fmu adjusted down a bit so the feul is no problem and at 5800 feet above sea level i ran a 13.5s 1/4 with a horrible launch do to i will exlod the t5 if i launch how i wanted to anyways the procharger is a great supercharger just if you have a t/a then be ready to get electric fans and a bigger radiator because they like to overheat with the intercooler blocking the radiator just my 2cents

i bought the kit used from a guy i know who had a tpi car so really you can get the kit anywh just google it then you will need to buy a carb hat and fab up some 3 3/4 inch pipe to match the carb hat with the tpi pipe that comes in the kit. the only difference in the kit is the carb hat everything else is the same but if you have any other questions just give me a call ill pm you my number so if you have a question about the install i will be able to answer them
