Doesn't really work like that. Tuning a supercharged engine can't really be done mail order.

You also don't specify what ECM, or if you are using an FMU and BTM, or you expect it to 'just work'.

Try contacting Greg Carroll @ BlowerWorks. http://www.blowerworks.net/ I got my from him and he is very helpful with the stuff you would need for your chip. I haven't put it in my car yet.

Good luck

Why would you give anyone advice since you have not used the chip??

I think Greg is a nice guy too, but jeez, nice guys alone don't make motors run.

Re: suggestions for custom chip

I understand doing a chip by mail order may not end up being perfect it should be done on a dyno but thats not in reach, tpis or other companys go through everything that you have done and need done so at least it will be alot better than runnin a stock chip with too many mods done i gotta start somewhere. Thanks for the tip ill call blowerworks and see how that goes.

I was not giving anyone advice. All I was suggesting try BlowerWorks since customirocz asked for suggestion. I am not saying that BlowerWorks is the best, but there could be others.

The reason, it because I have not try my yet and I am in the middle of working on my car. Greg, gave me some good advices what to look out for and what works best for the motor HP with supercharger.

Thanks.

Glad you did it and hope you are happy with chip and the mass air flow.

What kind or make chip and MAF did you get from him?

I got the Eprom Multiple chip and the MAF HPX from him and much more.

Please let me know how it runs so far and how much did it improve from stock parts? I havent try my yet hopefully soon.

Thanks.

Re: suggestions for custom chip

Greg had burned a custom chip for all the mods i had done to my motor, to increase fuel for the bigger injectors, set the idle diff and timing curves for the charger. The mass air that i had got from him is machined aluminum, he changes the value or grams per second in the chip to work with the mass air so no more check engine light. He gived detailed instructions in the computer harness you swap one green wire to an empty port so the new chip sends the new signal to the green wire. Was the easiest thing i have done on my car and it works excellent.

Re: suggestions for custom chip

I didn't want to have my car sit while I was trying to learn how to tune it after my H/C/I swap. I got a chip from Fast chips and it was night and day. It ran way better. But we all know you're not going to be spot on with a mail order. Once I was finally educated enough to burn my own chips, I asked Ed Wright if he would send me my bin file so I can "fine tune" off of it. We discussed earlier how it takes hundreds of hours to get a perfect tune, and how his mail order would just get it running decent. Well he flipped out on me for some reason and accused me of wanting the bin so I can give it away for free on the internet? The chip I paid $350 for...to give away for free on the internet? lol

We talked it out, and he burned me a few other chips with no problems and was fast. While the car ran fine, once I data logged it I seen a idle BLM of 108. So needless to say it needed fine tuning. I got my idle BLMS to around 120 now. Pull some fuel here, add some there, added some timing at WOT, and it was even better.

But overall, he was a good guy, and was fast.
