Where can I get accel software for their older ecm?

Hi everyone, Ive been on thirdgen for awhile but never in the power adder section. A little background... I just bought a 87 gta from a kid who was selling it for his father who is very very ill in the hospital. The son knows very little about cars and Im unable to speak to his father so I have no idea what the specs are on any of the parts . The car is heavily modified.. paxton sn92,accel superram, cam, pistons ,msd 6al, super-comp headers-ypipe, accel spark/fuel ecm with the serial connection for a laptop. Fist I tried to run a snapon scan tool on the obd1 to see how everything is running,, afr, iac,tps,02s, pulse rate, exc. but the obd1 no linger works so I have to run a laptop to the accel ecm to tune in the supercharger (something isnt right but not sure what)but I dont have any software that came with the car. The only software I even see online is for the dfi system. What can/should I do? Does anyone know where to get the software from? thanks alot

Call Accel.

Also might want to give Precision Turbo a call. Willing to bet Harry or Pete have older versions around

Re: Where can I get accel software for their older ecm?

Thanks,,, from what Ive found out I have a 74046 ecm. From what Ive read its the computer for the TPI motor and its considered a Gen 6 DFI. I think I can download the free software from calmap and use version 6.2... I didnt realize there was a board for aftermarket ecms so Ive been posting and researching in there alot..

You will need a sportsmen key in order to change anything, if you dont have the key you can look at settings and dash but will not be able to modify the ECM or tune
