| Re: TBI Nitrous Questions 1) If you up the fuel pressure on your car, the nitrous/fuel jettings that are in your manual will not be valid because they are for a TBI car running ~13psi fuel pressure. If I were you I would install a TPI or 190lph pump but keep it at 13psi.
2) Your options for fuel supply are to either cut and "T" the supply line or drill the throttle body. If you dont want to drill the top of the injector pod, I have one already drilled with the fitting in it that I could sell you if you are interested.
*Note - When I ran nitrous in my TBI car with the stock fuel pump, it supported the 75 shot just fine. When I bumped it up to a 100 shot, the pump was maxing out and causing my car to run wayyyyy lean. You do NOT want this to happen, trust me. I HIGHLY recommend upgrading your fuel pump before hitting the button. |
