Hi Guys
ok what do you think about adding not just 1 procharger. but 2
i have so much room on the pasnger side of the eng.. could fit a 2nd procharger.. will have to work out the Mt.. but it should not be a prob..
say 2 of them making 8 to 10 psi ea..
talked to the Guys at procharger they have done it before..
i would be running them into 2 smaller air to air coolers before going into a Y and the TB..
Twin superchargers have been (not on this site that i know of, just saying)....Even seen a twins supercharged AND twin turbocharger car. How in the world that was accomplished and tuned in EFI, I dunno. I just know it i possible to be done.
yes i know it's been done...it's nothing new.. just somthing diff for a 3rd gen with a procharger set up.. tuning should not be a prob at all!
just getting them to bolt up is the Fun part.. they are just air pumps..
would like to get one built for the right side.. so every thing is revs..
but if not.. i can just make the intake tube sweep to even it out.. looks wise.. has the intake will still have the fogger NOS set up on it.
Twin Super Chargers
EFI
&
NOS Fogger (DE TUNING down to like 100HP hit..or less)
if this works.. ill Back half the car nexed year..LOL
just before my last post..thats what we worked out. with the room up front..
was thinking of 2 coolers (have them) in hand..but not going to use them.
this all started with all the room i have on the pasgr side of the eng.. theres nothing on that side.. it's wide open..
the pick up (intake air will be from the cowl) running down on both sides into the chargers.. then into the air cooler. out from the top middle of the cooler into the TB.. working On the airdam in front might move it forward 4"inch.. looking at if 1 belt will work.. should.. have lots to work with.

1 belt would probably be the easiest. to run 2 you would have offset the head units mounting, plus that would be that much more added strain on the crankshaft.

Not much different than the millions of cars with multi-belt systems, before the serpentine belt was designed in the late 80s.
the set up is only as hard as making the braket to hold the Chargers.
added strain on the crankshaft. there will be None.
Running 1 belt for 2 units, I agree there really wouldn't be much added strain on the crank comparted to running a single unit. If you run a 2 belt setup, there would be more strain. You adding another drive pulley further away from the front support bearing, greater leverage on the crank snout.
the 2nd unit is going on the side with nothing on it..
at one time that side had the Air pump and AC on it.. now it's just open.
going to take that open space and fill it with the 2nd procharger.
when i get into the brakets OR Braket could just make one.
but yes Aligning the blower brackets or Bracket will be the first step.
after i get it layed out..
have use of CNC and water jet.. Making one is No prob.
thanks for the link.. saw that one other time and could not remember.
