Need NO help/info...

Just got a used NX system from a friend that has no idea what kind of car it came from. I have no experience with it and am dying to throw it in my 91 TPI. Do I have all the pieces? Tank, 3 braided lines two or three solinoeds, and a bunch of fittings. Suppose to be a complete system. How do i figure out what every thing is? and where the wires go? I know, I know...what an amateur. Just looking for a little NO 101............

Oh yea suppose to be a wet system. Compared to a dry system? Help please.

Re: Need NO help/info...

sounds like all you need is a plate, but I'm not positive.

Re: Need NO help/info...

you will need 2 solenoids...fuel and nitrous....if you have three that would be a purge you would hook that up on your nitrous line before you nitrous solenoid...

you will need like 4 hoses or lines....

and fittings to put it together

you should have a nozzle thats like 2 in 1 out

you mount your bottle.run a line from the bottle in to the nitrous solenoid then out of the nitrous solenoid into the nitrous side of the nozzle.

then you go from the fitting you check the fp on your fuel rail you go into that run a line from there into the fuel solenoid run a line out from the solenoid into the fuel side of the nozzle...drill a hole into your intake tube and plumb the end of that nozzle into your air intake tube...wire up your switches and solenoids(basic wiring skills) do a search on jets cause you put jets in the nozzle on the fuel and nitrous sides and those jets have to be a ratio that determines your size shot in hp....fp also is a factor in the jet sizes as well..

there are plenty of write ups google is a very handy tool but nitrous is very easy you just have to understand the concept
