rear mounted turbo on carb setup? Many questions

Well i have a friend thats big on turbos, hes got a 300zx tt and is addicted to boost. Hes also got a 2000 mitsubishi eclipse that hes planning on doing a rear mounted turbo set up on.

So im wondering if the same would be possible to do on my wimpy carbed LG4 305? Im gonna be swaping it soon so i dont care much for it.(figured it would make a good experiment)

I understand the concept of a rear mounted turbo but how would the fuel delivery part of it work with a carb? would i have to enrichen the carb mixture to keep up with the turbo? bigger jets?

would a regular holley 4160 work or would i need a "blow thru" carb?

what would be an adequate turbo size for a rear mounted set up on a 305/350 engine?

We would be doing this on a budget, strictly as an experiment.

Any info is appreciated.

Still need a blow thru carb or modify the one you have. I dont know anything about carbs but a good blow through carb is fairly expensive ~600-900 bucks from what I seen. But its worth it as a good carb makes for the best driveability.

I've been planning a remote mount on my 99 TA as of late since i love my other turbo car. I'd use something in the 60-70 mm range depending on the hp level. I'd probably try a small a/r T4 housing for the turbine side, P trim wheel in the 62-64mm range. For a mild 305, figure pushing 350-400whp is all you will ever want to try to get out of it, a single 61-64mm would just about do the trick. I myself plan on a T67 for my LS1 car looking for 450-500whp.

Why rear mount? Go with a front mount, much easier to do. As for the carb, if you go with a carb enclosure box you won't need to modify it for blow thru... you would just need a decent fuel pump, boost referenced fuel pressure regulator, then tune your fueling in the carb (get a wideband to monitor your air/fuel ratio). Get your hands on a carb enclosure box like this one, then just fab up some turbo headers...

What kinda oil delivery system could u use I plan on doing the same but with 78 mm turbo and mount it in the back like a sts set up I was thinking about using a dry sump oil tank instead of tapping my oil pan and using a sts oil feed system unless somebody knows of one cheaper I live to hear about cause they're around 800 bucks and as far as a fuel pump can u use a manual fuel pump or would I have to use a electric
