in over my head?

Hello fellow 3rd gen members I have a 1989 trans am GTA, 350, TPI, roller rockers, super chip, headers, posi 3:27 gears, a 700R4 with a massive shift kit. I recently purchaced a blower because it was practically free. Its a 6v92, does anyone make a intake manifold for a 6v92? Or even an adapter plate to mount on a 6-71 intake? Also I have never heard of anyone using a TPI set up on a roots style blower so I will go carbureted. prob 2 holley 450 cfm's? Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated! also can I still use the same fuel pump and just get a manual fuel pressure regulator? thanks

Good luck. That sounds like a complete custom project from intake manifold fab to carb adapter plate fab to acceasory bracket fab to turn. Those were on detroit diesel engines i believe and not sure of their flow capacity to know if its even capable of working well on a sbc 350

I think that's why they make gas conversion kits for blowers. even the 6-71, 8-71, etc are originally from Detroit diesels. im curious though, when I look for a SBC blower intake they'll have from 1955-1986. what changed from 1987 on why it wouldn't be compatable? if I could somehow get a manifold that will fit my motor I could get or have made an adapter plate to mount the blower. boy, this might be quite the project!
