Problems / Help / Suggestions / Comments Let us know if you're having any problems with the site or board software. Post any ideas you might have for ThirdGen.Org here.
How about adding a Forum for articles/news/information on third gens found in the printed world. Sadly I haven't seen a decent third gen article in any print magazine in a long time. Maybe others have, I'd like to know and I bet others would like to know as well.
Thanks,
Dan

AmorgetRS has it. We post such material to our Magazine section, which is located under the Multimedia section, whenever we are given material on Third Gen content that we can use.
I think the History/Restoration forum is probably the best forum for that at this time, and given the fact that it's somewhat scarce as you mention, it probably doesn't work to have a dedicated forum - atleast at this time. We try not to add too many forums unless there is a need and material to support it. That isn't to say a subforum for that and memorabilia won't be considered and discussed when there is more of a need.
The last article in your multimedia section is from 2000. Since then GM High Tech Performance and Car Craft did Third-Gen builds, but there is nothing here to note that. Can you link to the other website articles if available?

Thanks again,

If it's not in the Media section, we probably don't have it because nobody sent us a copy. Of course there may be some posted in the History/Restoration forum as well.
Edit: Maybe I'm not understanding correctly. Are you simply suggesting there be a place to state that "HPP's January 2008 has a GTA featured in it"? If so, I can't see why not posting that in the History/Restoration thread as a "heads-up" to members. That would, in my opinion, fit will in that forum. But if it's a past issue, then that might not work out so well because locating a backorder copy isn't always easy. In those cases, members may not be as interested.
Dan, I see and now better understand. In the years, I can't say I recall anyone sending me a link to a magazine's website that hosts the content of past issues.
That certainly could be added to our Media section.

Yes, that is what I'm saying, some place to let everyone know that a current magazine article is out and in what magazine. Most magazines have abandoned Third Gen articles for newer cars, so when one is printed I want to know. I will send any old articles I find as I fish around the internet for articles. Where or to whom do I send the link to? Here are some more.
I feel the History/Restoration is the best place to post the current magazines that may feature a Third Gen. That's seems the most fitting place, and likely will target the people most interested.
As far as past magazine articles, you can email me the links: jt@thirdgen.org
I'll work on adding those to our Media section, and also added a note to the Media section with a contact/email to sending us any links that may not already be posted.
