This is for the RPO decal in the middle console . (not that it matters, but a 1987 Iroc)

Bought a Hawks reproduction console lid...

Fits and looks pretty close except the metal bracket that has the spring on it is raw metal instead of black and the leather on the front of it doesn't...

Replaced the ac pressure switch again... this one had some good pressure going in hopefully resulting in a tighter fit and had a little ac oil on it, so I'm hopeful this time.

Horn hasn't worked as the white plastic tube in the steering wheel was brokem. We used a file to cut a new slit in it, butvit didn't work too well.

Got it lined up and the steering wheel is FINALLY straight. Yah! AC compressor still leaking from the switch, so have another one coming...

I just keep doing small things to this car.

Detailed the engine(pictures coming soon) and added some new centercaps and new lug nuts with black caps for a pretty close OEM look

1987 Iroc AC leaking from the compressor pressure switch(just replaced)

Hey! So. I replaced the original leaking pressure switch on the back of my compressure with a new one (including the new o-ring and c-clip. I don't believe anytging was damaged in the switch swap...

Well. The AC was short lived. Its still leaking from the pressure switch on tbe compressor after a day. I replaced the switch and O ring when I replaced it. I didn't score the sides or anything...

I never got into the exact specifications, BUT I know unless the aftermarket GM ones no 145 until mid year 86. I had an 85 with the GMPP 140 speedo with the older style needle.

Got it back and really happy. Had some damage under the bra from a previous repair. Also got the bottom of the hood dusted in so when I add a hood liner it will be finished looking!

I was able to get the broken AC compressor switch out, so hopefully my AC will stay charged now!


Also, I spent a couple hours putting in the aftermarket fog lights.

Man, the fit like CRAP! ...

Fine, I'll put in some elbow grease, HAHA. This is for my LS, turbo Iroc. They are not leaking, I do feel like the front passenger one is hanging(or may be a lot of rust).

I'll be honest. One is hanging, I've been lazy and was just going to buy reman ones, plus they look so old. Maybe I will work on them some. Thank for the motivation, haha

IIRC the calipers are the front calipers from the same car and the rotors from the rear(something like that). The calipers look like this...
