here's two things not helping your case man. First off, times are hard, so for someone to send money via money order,cashier's check,personal check etc, and hope that you ship out the console after you're paid..I mean no disrespect, you may mean well..but with paypal at least you have a better chance of recovering the money if it turns out to be fraudulent."

secondly, I would want to see pics of something I'm buying for that amount of money as well..so at least attempt to carefully open the box and snap a few pics, thats what others with NOS parts have been doing.

As for PayPal, in the 10+ years I've been on this forum I'd bet not a single person has anything bad to say about me. I've done dozens of big and small deals on here. Plus my eBay user ID is 10 years old too with 100% perfect feedback for this same username. PayPal is not going to save someone from a bad deal. I lost $800 PLUS a notebook. PayPal decided to minus my account so I walked and gave them the finger after they would not cover my loss.

If someone wants it, they will pay, I did. I do see you point on the pictures though and fair is fair. I guess I was waiting for someone to say "ok I'll buy it" then I'd send pictures but I'll do it tonight.

What would one of these bad boys cost from GM, $250 ish for the console i'd say and another $200 for the shifter plate.

In 1999 the console with armrest was about $215, the shifter plates were around $110. At present both have been discontinued for years and are worth whatever the seller chooses to charge.

And if you need these parts, they are often worth it because you never know when someone will have another set available.
