I recently had some troubles with my 9 bolt and I've decided not to keep it. The following are brand new parts. They were sitting under my work bench waiting to be installed in the original boxes. I have excellent feedback here and on eBay. I accept Paypal. All pictures are clickable to larger versions.



3.73 (3.70 stamped on ring) Yukon Gear Set - From Randy's Ring and Pinion- Item Number: YG GM7.75-373BW. Retails $229. These are brand new in the packaging. I've opened the box a few times to inspect them and take pictures. My original invoice shows these as 3.70 ratio, noisey, for a 3.07 and up case. Girdle with stud kit - From TA Performance- Item Number: TA_1802 & TA 1802-SK. Retails $180 [including stud kit]. These are brand new the box. Studs and fastners are still sealed. Decal and original gasket are still there. This girdle is heavy ~7 lbs and is a monster when compared to the stamped cover. It has drain and fill plugs, bearing preload supports, and adds 1/2 pint to the fluid capacity. ARP Studs are for the main caps to replace the OEM bolts. The other included fastners are for the cover bolts. I've misplaced the instructions but they can be found on the forum. $170 Shipped - SOLD

Yes, I could do a US Postal Money Order. I'd of course have to make a trip to the Post Office (1 town away) first to cash it before sending any parts.

Any takers for the gears and install kit? You'd pay $325 just for USED 3.70s without any new bearings from 9bolt.com or around $470-$480 for the same stuff at Randy's Ring and Pinion.

What kind of troubles did you have with the 9 bolt?

I needed a ratio change for the camshaft, so I wanted to inspect it prior to having a shop put in the new gears. On teardown I found the carrier case has already been machined prior and the posi cones are bottomed out, so I can't get much more life out of it. I also found 2 of the 4 spider gear shafts broken. So instead of using my new parts and additional funds (for a posi carrier) I'm planning on a 9" in the future.

I believe I have secured a used 10 bolt replacement so I don't plan on fixing up my 9 bolt currently.
