Needing headlight wiring harness for camaro.

My 1984 Camaro Berlinetta is needing a headlight wiring harness, the one that is in the car is old and rotten, two of the headlight connectors are completely gone and the rest are close, sometimes my lights are at different brightnesses and it looks goofy. Do all third gen camaro's use the exact same headlight wiring harness or are there different ones for the different years? If you have what I need, please let me know as I need one, must be uncut, unaltered and in good shape.

Thanks onthedl.

Re: Needing headlight wiring harness for camaro.

I've got one for Ya'....... $25 + shipping.

Not all Headlight harnesses are the same. Z28 park lights and Coupe/Berlinetta park lights use a different connector. In addition the Berlinetta headlight harness has extra wiring for the coolant sensor and the washer sensor.

I'll pull one out and will post an update with e shipping quote later this evening.

Re: Needing headlight wiring harness for camaro.

John, thanks very much. Sounds great. Funny you should mention the park light connector(s). When I switched to the iroc nose cone and park lights, I had a hell of a time getting the light bulb to stay in the parking light housing. They do stay in, but do not fit correctly. As for the coolant and washer sensor, I don't use either of these. Would I be better to use a headlight harness from an Iroc considering I am using the Iroc style park lights and don't need the two long sensor wires? Interested in pics if you can.

Re: Needing headlight wiring harness for camaro.

Did you pull the bulbs from the dash cluster to turn the warning lights off - or did you just connect the wires to ground so they didn't display on the "Systems Monitor" ? You just might be better off with one from a "Z" type car if you don't need the extra sensor wiring.......

I've got to finish what I'm workin' on outside and when I'm done I'll look over the harnesses before sending you some pics. ( sorry I didn't post them last night ! )

Re: Needing headlight wiring harness for camaro.

Hey John, If I remember right I pulled the bulb on the dash cluster to get rid of the idiot light. I do not have the factory fog lights either.

I have one of an '86 Sport Coupe. On another note it looks like you will have plenty to choose from!
