Recommend me a Transmission shop. DFW
Well the tranny finally bit the bullet.
Please, someone let me know of a good trans shop that I won't get ripped off at.
DFW area, preferably in North Dallas or Irving/Los Colinas area. The car has 1st gear and that's it.

There is a guy that does good work for the local club.
If I remember right the auto guys were paying $3-400 for a complete rebuild and shift-kit.

Poke around the North Texas Thirdgen Assoc. website and see what you can find!

I can fix it if it's a standard tranny. If not, then I know several others who work at various local dealerships that do side work
The price ranges from $400-550 for a 700-r4 rebuild. Let me know

well if u want to drive a lil ways go up to gainesville north of denton and go to kenny wilson at wilsons transmission..that guy does some awesome work at some decent prices

I can vouch for his work. It is good. Have had several rebuilt by him.
