Sue and I are probably gonna make a run out to Sam's Sat night Car Show, to pass out flyers for the 2005 Fall Brawl, to any thirdgens that are there, and hang out a while, and check out the cool cars.
If U have nothing else to do , cruise on out and join the crowd!
Hwy. 6 + I-10W--1 block north of 10
If any of U thirdgenners that live on the SE side have nothing to do, run off some of the Fall Brawl flyers and go out to the show at 2094 + 146 and do the same.
Well, I was gonna suggest for the north side guys to do the same at the Woodlands car show, but I'm not sure if they have suspended their Sat night show. Anybody know what's up with them???

We got out there about 6:30 and to my surprise, there was only about 30/35 cars there. Found out laterthat a lot of the people have been going to the BIG< BIG< BIG car show at Champions Forrest + Spring Cypress. It is supposed to be sponsered by the NIFTEE 50'S CaR CLUB,or something like that.
Anybody heard anything about this show or the club or anything about it? I was told they had a web site, but I did a google search and can't seem to find anything about it.
I was told there was about 300 cars there last week! But was also told that either last night or maybe next week was the last night they were going to have it. (Officially that is) I would imagine that there will still be people going out there.
Was also told that most of the regulars at Sam's Club would be returning in the next couple weeks, so there should be a good car count for our Mass Cruise at the Fall Brawl.

Yep I was out there... Today (Sunday) is the last day of it... thought about going to Sam's after I saw your post but by then it was already 9:00... and thats about when all the nicer cars leave.... Hopefully one of these Saturdays I'll remember early enough and drag Gary out there since he's never been.
edit: oops I meant the Old Town Spring Car show thing going on...

No I don't!
Can anyone help out?
I have their web address--i looked around there but did not see anything about the Sat night show--but I only looked around for a couple minutes--it may be there somewhere.
Below is an answer to an e-mail I sent to the web site about the show.
Craig,
Thanks for contacting Niftee50ees.
The street meets have been going on every Saturday night since March 3, 2005.
We are open to classic cars 1979 and older vehicles. We are limited to space and we do good to house the years mentioned.
We do not meet on Sundays.
If you have a classic car, you are welcome to visit us. However, we will be closing the season on November 12, 2005 with our last showing of the season at Kroger's. We will resume our meetings in early spring 2006.
Kroger's is located at 8745 Spring Cypress @ Champions Forest Drive.
Depending on which area of town you live, I can give you directions.
If you would like to visit our website, click on the following link and then click on photo album to see the action. Once you have reached our photo bucket sight, simply click on any album to open.
But they did supposedly have over 300 cars there last week! Even if we can't show, it might b worth looking at. There's probably a parking area of people that can't show that are looking around at cars that are haaving there own show!
There are a bunch of '79 and newer cars there, they just park outside the coned off area.
They gave me crap about parking inside the show cause my car wasn't old enough, but they said since it's a pretty clean ride that I could park in between these two '67 - '68 Camaro's. The next time I went, I parked on the row behind the cones next to a '04 Cobra Mustang and a 4thgen SS.
They do have some nice cars there!
Only 2 shows left there this year (sat. the 5th and sat. the 12th) weather permitting......
