Are there any Houston area retail speed shops? I just want to look around. Might be nice if you are pressed for time and can't wait for an order to be shipped.

I-45 right inside the beltway) and a several others--check the yellow pages under automobile--sub catagory performance or racing--I can't remember how it is listed--U might b surprised at the number of places under that listing--many are performance shops like ARD--some parts places- -etc- -etc- -etc

Conley's On 1960, Comp Sales, SGP Racing on Ella... Quite a few in the area.

Smiley's in Spring, real nice people there, good selection

Circle Track and Oval Track Parts For Sprint Cars, Late Models, Hobby Stocks, Street Stock and Mini Stocks

Texas performance Warehouse on the corner of Wingtip and Jet Pilot, near Hobby Airport (who would have guessed).

A lot of the speed shops in town get their parts from Texas Performance. They don't have much of a showroom, but they have more parts in stock than anyone else in town that I know of.

I think that's where that buddy of Barry85iroc works--GREG-- he used to be at Competition Sales on N 45. If U contact that place, see if Grag works there and mention U ar a member of the HOU. thirdgen gang, and that U know Barry--maybe that will get U a better price!

Where abouts in Seabrook are they? I use to go there quite a bit when they were on Bay Area.

its in the business park buy the shiply's donuts and the waffle house between redbluff and repsdorph on 146, if you turn in the business park park its down a bit on the right

I'll have to make a visit there. My buddy knew the original owner way back, he was at the strip the day he died.
