New to Houston and looking for a little advice

Hey guys, I just moved to Houston for grad school and just wanted to say hi to everyone, and maybe get some advice about garages in the area. I've pm'd a a few of the guys on the board, but this is going out to everyone else. I have a 91 Z28 w/ 30k miles on it, and it's been having some stalling problems (http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/te...ml#post3181726 (Would anyone like to try their luck with a diagnosis problem?) if anyone is more interested). Anyway, I took it to a garage in midtown, and they couldn't fix it after having it for four weeks. Anyone have any garage recommendations? Do ya'll get together often, or would anyone be interested in helping me solve this puzzle? Any advice ya'll could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot, Chad.

Hi, my name is Zane, i have allot of my friends take injected cars to HPE(Houston Performance Engineering), Connleys(highly recomended by friends), and strickly performance, i have a carbed car that i tune myself, but these are all shops that i hear nothing but good come out of from my fellow F-Body owners mouths about their great service, i do not know where they are located, but another by me in Atascosita is slaters, they are helpful to me but have blown their fair share of cars up on the dyno.

HTH, PM me if you need to talk,
Zane

P.M. xtremeirocz, he is the person to talk to about fixing thirdgens. He works at a shop here in Houston called ARD( Advanced Racing Dynamics). If he can do an LS1 swap in my car i bet he could help diagnose your cars problem

OKay, since I got rid of my mustangs a few years ago, I refuse to take any car of mine to the guys at Strictly Performance. I still have a few friends who go there and work on their cars using their garage and what not, but i absolutely refuse. No drama in me telling you guys about the story. If you are really interested pm me and ill let you know about it.

From I-10 and highway 6, go north past Keith Harrow till you reach Addicks Satsuma. Take a right turn and go about 100 yards down, and you will see the sign and it is located on the left in a business park.
