GTA Hood

Everybody, I just got my 87 GTA, and it has a POS glass ram air hood on it that has no prayer of ever fitting right. Anyone know of a good place to get a stock GTA hood, or anyone have one laying around anywhere? I am in Humble, TX. Thanks in advance.

Re: GTA Hood

Do you have any pics of your ram air hood?

What would you take for it?

Re: GTA Hood

Fyrchkn PMd me on seeing this.

I've got a GTA hood, and want a RA I hood. Mine's not perfectly straight, but the few dimples in it are fixable, and nobody hardly ever notices them.

If your interested in a trade, let's talk!

Re: GTA Hood

I'd be willing to trade-my hood is not in great shape-someone tried to make it fit by hacking on it. I will take some pictures and send you a PM. Could you send me some pictures of your hood as well?

Here's a bunch of pics.

The pic in my sig is of my current hood too.

Is your RA hood the 93-97 style? or 98-up, with the twin nostrils?

It turned out to be a RAII hood, so I passed on it.

Would you sell it out right? If so, what would you take for it? I'm between Austin and Houston.

Local pick a part in Pasadena had a couple last time I was there. I may be taking a look in there this weekend, will see if they are still there if I go.

If I can find another hood, I will sell it. I would take 100 bucks for it. Like I say-if I can find another...Let me know.

Re: GTA Hood

When you find one let me know. I have cash in hand and will come get it. I've got the flat base bird hood right now if you want it. You could always add the T/A vents to it. They're all over Ebay.
