Anyone in my area got a short block i can throw a set of vortecs on? I want to drive my RS till the new motor is done so im not looking to spend a lot.
my buddy has the shortblock 350 i pulled from my 89 IROC its a 4 bolt 357 (.040 over 350) i think he is askin 300 for it, its up here in waco though if ure intrested in it pm me ill give u his number
wont argue on the distance but it is a roller motor, 4 bolt l98 pulled the pan myself and saw the 4 bolt mains and roller cam shaft but its whatever...
Well, if it was half the drive and price id be up for it, the motor is out of a 3/4 or 1 ton truck if it is a 4 bolt, i am looking for a 2 bolt so it will be cheaper, that 4 bolt is worth more than i wanna spend. Thanks allot bro.
I've got an 87 L98 pulled from my GTA. Has TPI setup (one dented runner), all accessories but the a/c, and all brackets but one (don't remember which - it broke on removal). Also have the wiring harness and ecm...heck even some tuning equipment if somebody wants it (GP1 Package and Burn1 unopened in box it came in). Engine ran pretty well when pulled - swapping to ls1. $450 for Engine, $120 for chip stuff, or $550 for both. Everything is in Dayton, TX (not far from Baytown). I've got video of the engine the day before we pulled it - no smoke or knock.
