New Car Themed Bar opening in League City - South Central Region - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

Hi Guy's,

There is a new car/motorsports themed Bar opening in League city next Saturday 10th May. Its right next door to the park where they have a great cruise on the Friday. Looks like I'm going to take a look and then cruise down to the Chick fillet meet down at Kemah. Anyone interested? Weather permitting of course.

Sounds good, i might have to go some tie. Just got a 9 bolt in the 86 with 3.08 gears and headman headers, it is running better, still needs TLC that will be a bit.

im in for sure! i live 2 minutes from the chick fillet, but i have NEVER heard oft his friday cruise? is it at the park by the rail road tracks and the big oak trees near highway 3 and 518? i assume the new bar is right by that park as well?

Your right, the cruise on the friday is held in the car park and the resturant is on the other side of the tracks, the resturant use to be a texmex, has a bull statue outside of it. There is a banner up outside it now saying Jacks Garage, opening May 10th.

) the chick fillet meet is pretty cool everyone should try to come down sat so we can have a big 3rd gen presence, normally its one to three or less

The Chick Fillet meet seems to get bigger everytime I go. Should be a good turnout this week with the good weather.

The Kemah meet starts around 6pm, that's when cars start turning up and if you want a decent parking space. There's a good selection from classics to new mustangs and everything in between, not many Jap imports.

Its tomorrow, Saturday for the Kemah meet, Today for the meet at League city park. Planning to goto the bar tomorrow and then drive down to the Kemah meet.

Glad to see you back. Was a very nice bar, cheap beer too. Don't know if that was just for opening night. Bar staff are very Hootrish.

Then went from there to the chick fillet cruise at Kemah, met up with Alex there and his Z28. Very tidy car Alex.

thanks! new paint is on the way, and a cleaner engine bay. the vert looks GOOD in that yellow, i'm trying to decide on color for my repaint
