hey guys, i have been fixing stuff and i haven't been posting much, anyways here is what i did:
replaced engine in my truck so that i could replace the engine in my car and still have something to drive =)
i have a ...84? 87? locked up 305 (rod 1 and 2 are busted, crank is messed up) is for sell, it was a rebuilt long block with my accessories etc on it... it ran out of oil (previous owner locked it up). it had a valve cover leak and oil pan leak (neither were tight, looks like they bolted up and didn't re-check them! took them off by hand w/o ratchet or socket). it was in a 84 silverado
2.8L v6 (mpfi) - i believe it jumped time, it kinda ran when pulled, but was very wacky - timing wise... 2 days before i pulled it, it did run 120 mph down the highway though =) complete engine/trans (for the most part), wiring harness (cut @ engine right after starter, and inside fender where wires mount, 2 easy to re-connect places). computer too. you may get lucky and only replace timing chain! lol.
i prefer to sell the v6 engine as a whole... it has never been rebuilt
v8 i can part out (heads/intake in great condition - had a quadrajet 4 barrel on it). block looks in decent condition
v6 tranny (700r4) was rebuilt march 2006 (have receipt - 1023$). it will spin 7000 rpm like nothin.
i'd like 100$ for the v8 engine
i'd like $250 for the v6 engine (full with harness and computer)
i'd like $300 for the v6 700r4
500 for the v6 combo if you want to do it that way.
all prices are negotiable. i can deliver to sherman/denison area within a day or two, any farther than that, you will have to come pick it up... i have a forklift and a wench.
yes, the engines and transmission are all already pulled
