Kick-a$$ heads for sale in Texas

These are Fast Burn heads that I ported and flowed. Final numbers are as follows: Intake Exh
200 132 97
300 195 128
400 239 153
500 265 172

I went 6.90 1/8th mile N/A with my 83 Camaro street car on pump gas. Combustion chambers are 64cc and decks have not been cut. Valves are new Ferrea 2.05/1.60 5000 series. With just a head swap to AFR227's, I have only picked up a tenth. Heads have all hardware and also come with matching Super VIctor and RPM intakes in like new condition. $800 for all.
Call for question or details. 281-389-6150 Dave

Re: Kick-a$$ heads for sale in Texas

Should also mention that I flowed them with a good bowl clean-up and stock valves, and the intakes went 248cfm and exhaust was 155cfm. This is pretty bad compared to the numbers GM Performance parts are posting. I almost abandoned the heads at that point. I was amazed how much the larger valves and additional work picked them up. Also, I am running 11.5:1 compression on pump gas with no problems. Total timing 36 degrees.

Re: Kick-a$$ heads for sale in Texas

I will be at 11 to 1 so i hope i have no detonation problems, i am sure i wont. I have better heads and bigger cam in the new motor coming together, forged rods and pistons and the block is a 4 bolt, i am only going to spray a 150 shot probably. You do your own carb work?

Re: Kick-a$$ heads for sale in Texas

I don't get into things like drilling passages and things like that, but yes I do the tuning and know how to tailor the carb for the car. I currently am running a 750HP, but am getting ready to buy a 850 and may sell the 750 once I am happy with the tune.

Re: Kick-a$$ heads for sale in Texas

I cannot get my pro form 750 to act right under normal driving conditions, i think i need to send it out to pro systems and have them do the work, i hear great things about them making a carb like mine work wonders all around.

Re: Kick-a$$ heads for sale in Texas

I have heard lots of good too. With a simple combo like you have, there is no reason the carb should not perform well if properly adjusted. When you get going again, I will help you get it straight if you like. We could also tune it on my car and it would be very close.
