okay so i have a small leak in my 700r4. and i know i have to get it rebuilt soon bcuz overdrive went out. but i only cruise it on weekends. and when i go drive it i always check the fluid so i wont burn it. is that okay?
but my main question is...
does anyone know any good transmissions shops to get it rebuilt for performance with good work and price?
have you asked justin? he said he loves doing auto's last meet i saw him at. if you need a place to do it, you can have some of my shop, shouldn't take more than a day or two once parts get in. i'll help out where i can, i'd love to learn some auto stuff anyways
I got mine rebuilt 4 yrs ago at Mr. Transmission on Jones Road... $250 total.. worked great until last sat when the car went up in flames. They rebuilt my rear end at the same time for $250 as well...

over on ls1tech there has been a lot of bad things happen with century in richmond. including the one they built for me in a 2002 chevy silvy. paid $3000 with converter. blew it up twice. then found they only put in 4 gear sprags insted of the good 5 ones. will never go there again as well as other people. circle d is the one doing them all now. plus they guarentee you will not blow up there converters. oh yeah--century has them do there converters as well.
I know a guy off i10 that has rebuilt 2 700r4's for a us for trucks. 600 with the new convertor is what we paid for each. Guy did a good job and knew his shyt. Works for himself out of his house.
