Thank you's and results for the 2009 Summer Meet..
I'd like to thank everyone who attended for coming to the meet! Thanks to all who brought food / drinks / supplies and for cooking! Special thanks to Kevin to making and bringing the Houston area local chapter TGO stickers!
We had roughly 20 cars that made it out which was still quite lower than what was expected. We should have had around 40 cars if everyone would have showed.
We had quite a few no-shows due to various reasons.
I myself was 2 hours late due to mech. issues. My rear hatch motor took a crap and I messed with it for about an hour trying to get it working, then when I got fuel on the way, the car wouldn't start (hot headers not good for starter solenoids), but I let the car cool down and it fired up... (sorry for being late)..
Next year, I think I'll plan one for the fall of 2010, when it's much cooler outside. Hopefully by then, more members will have their car's in working order (I'm also lumping myself into that boat !! )...
Thanks again to all that attended. I enjoyed seeing and talking with everyone and we'll do it again next year!
Mike (1bad91Z)
P.S. - later on tonight, I'll post the pics that my girlfriend took.
Feel free to post your pics on this thread or on Larry (Badman's) thread.

Wow...nice sticker. If there's any extra - PM me
More complicating circumstances left me in TX this weekend working on the car. I didn't get it finished enough to bring, but was able to leave several black patches of rubber in front of the house I'm down for the next meet 100%.
