So i was looking for some carb parts i had stored in the garage and, i just happened to find the first car i ever built. She's not much to look at but i did get a little trophy and a badge after a little tweaking.
Dude i just bought the ones that are in there but if you think it will help. Like I said before.. i've got to set the rocker arms and bolt together the tpi and its ready to tune... wait.. scratch that i've got electrical connections that are messed up that need replacing but i'm going to go up to xl parts and order them all at once... and it would help to change the oil and refill all the fluids... then she's ready to tune... that is if you don't mind the non exsisting exhaust thats on her... Now if you say that that she can be tuned now then by all means i got the time and money you just tell me when and i'll give you the address to meet me at..

How about a side shot of her? What you should see by this picture is that she has a long way to go before being driven... besides having no seats inside since they have yet to get to the upholstery shop... no exhaust... needs windshield and stickers... finished the rims on this side though

I would have went with a red valve cover and a painted or powdercoated intake setup as I never was a polished fan but looks nice.
With polished cover and intake, I may suggest coating the fuel rails red and the lines on the valve covers red to match the plenum red stripes. Just an idea.
my buddy hotrod16105 did this on his car to match the paint on the car.
i just wanna let everyone kno that my son was born on jan 27th lol to those who read on here that i was gonna be a father lol ! all try an make it to most the meets when i can cuz i have a big responsibilty now !!!

Hey orr I like what he did but not too sure that car paint will hold up to the high degree of paint that the engine puts out. Mine was originally red to match the exterior but i knew for a fact that the paint would peel due to the heat.. seen it a million times.... Besides polished has less of a barrier for heat transference than paint does even high heat. High Heat paint has a tendancy to hold the heat in as well...

I have painted my stuff before and never had a problem but i was using engine enamel stuff, not regular paint like he used. He doesnt have a problem so far and I think it looks cleeean. Just needs a pair of turbos in there
I think the twin turbo's is your thing bro... Not sure if i posted the original picture of my camaro's motor in this thread but it should be on my profile albums. Check it out and you can see the difference from what it was till now... On a side note.... SCORE... I got in the mail today all the connectors for my harness that i ordered. Looks like Saturday i'll hit this car up again and get some things straight on it.

Funny though but i was thinking about painting the lines on the valve covers red but the spark plug looms would over take it with too much red besides i've got some other stuff thats going in there as well... Just an update i dropped off all my seats to be reupholstered.... guy said he would email me some pictures of them getting worked on by monday maybe even have one or two ready to be picked up
FYI- Mike i grabbed the ecm and all the parts you need for the base tune but thats gunna have to wait til next friday that way i can pay you... lol

Well, I just bought a pair of hog nose pliers and staples, and some cutters and removed the covers and washed them in the washer, clean, clean...and easy. Well, wants you get the cover off, It take time but, its not hard, it's just time cunsuming you should plan at least a weekend.Well then i put a set of 1993 seat and man.. are they so much nicer to set in, they realy dont look that much different, But let me tell you they are! Much nicer..sorry just chattering
eh its cool ... the best way i have found to get a lot of grime off a seat is really simple... reupholster... lol.. thats what i'm doing but mine were sun damaged and faded red leather... can't really clean that ... should pick up one of the seats this weekend i think...

I've been working on mine since i bought the car about 4 or 5 months ago... a little bit at a time sanding everyday and i'm down to the final 1. I just sand till i get sick of it or bored.... lol but i'm sure anyone who has polished knows the pain... Hoping with my seats back in my posession in two weeks and the exhaust getting ready to get thrown on the car i will be able to finish her out and actually drive her for once...
