Re: Hou TX, i need a 700R4 trans

How soon do you need it? I have a 4L60 in my 93, non electronic like the 94+. So it's a lot like the 91-92 units, it's coming out for a six speed swap. It has a Vigi 3200 converter in it and 72K miles. Works fine, never seen nitrous or really driven with the H/C, backed it out the garage a few time. It's the stock trans so was on the car from stock to bolt ons.

Re: Hou TX, i need a 700R4 trans

I figure on here is the only place some one will want it, with it not being an electonic version like the 1994-1997 cars, those guys really cant use it. I figure if some one bought the converter if they needed the trans they could have it. Even if the converter sells, I'll give one of you guys the trans if you need it. Sure you guys can make it work in of your cars failry easy.

Re: Hou TX, i need a 700R4 trans

it is a stronger tranny than the 700r4? You think it will work with a tpi setup ... I think both my motor and current tranny are computer controlled though...

Re: Hou TX, i need a 700R4 trans

Pretty sure it is still a 700R4. The 4L60 is just a electric controlled 700R4.

Re: Hou TX, i need a 700R4 trans

I'm still trying to source some stuff for the six speed swap, GM discontinued some of te hardware I needed. If it comes out and you still need it, you can have the trans.
