Crawl up underneath that machine and look at the front part of the rear frame rails.
The part where they turn up in front of the rear axle. Rust? Look at the a-pillar at the base where the corner of the dash meets the windshield. Rust? Common failures on second gens and hard to fix. Nice looking car though.

nice car. looks like its in good shape. my dad bought me a 1979 camaro z28. it needed work but we put it together decently to drive it around. but we sold it bcuz i wanted a third gen. so a year later my dad suprised me for my 16th b day.
