anybody check out the races on the beeline on friday nights?
They race on the highway, or you mean Moroso? I don't like racing on the street when the track only charges $20 for test-n-tune (Moroso is on Beeline).

timing is really easy, you should buy a cheap light and do it yourself. as for the drive shaft, mike's driveline is good but nothing ever worked on my 91 other than replacing the shaft with a used one that was good. i'd call around to junk yards and ask for the 4th gen alum one. one told me 100$.
Good to see some Tampa people. I lived just outside of Tampa in Plant City, right next to Lakeland. I'll move back one day, but i'd like to get something started early so I can just join in rather than having to start out slow.
I just tried to register for flthirdgen.org and it said that the website was currently not accepting new registration. Is the website still up and running? After not having a third gen car for 10 years, I finally just purchased a 1992 Trans Am vert (previous car had in high school was a 1986 Firebird).

Valrico here - 88 Formula just back on the road after 3 years. Was a member of fl3rdgen, but have been unable to log in for several months. But this board will do nicely.

i lived in valrico from 1987-1992 also, then riverview through 2006, now ft myers..
3rdgenwilly Im from Daytona. I just got back from military training and am also out of the loop. We should try to get a 3rd gen thing going in Daytona.
I'm back from the sandbox finally, stationed at Ft Stewart, GA near Savannah. Jax is 2 hrs south, so let me know where the get togethers are nowadays. I'll be rebuilding my engine (again) since I fragged a cam lobe.
hey guys, ive been in jacksonville for about a year now, and im now looking for a good reputable machine shop. a buddy told me about H&M parts wharehouse near stockton road is a good plus. does anyone agree or disagree? any other machine shops around that i should check out?
if youre willing to drive a little. Greenflag racing is in Valdosta GA. Its about two hours from J-ville. The guy builds everything from street motors to big time dragster motors for customers all up and down the east coast.. A little pricy but you get outstanding work.

Gainesville here. Just bought my 85 T-top Z28 last Wednesday. Now the whole family can go cruising together. I still love my 89 Corvette convertible, but no back seat is a drag now that we have a son.
Tomorrow (saturday), I think I'm going to head over to the steak-n-shake show on obt in apopka. Just about every weekend or 2 some people get together at the casselberry commons (436 & howell branch).
Well i'm looking for something complete. My car had a 2.8l and it has all the V6 wiring and all that, so im trying to stay with that for awhile. Something I can just throw in there and go.
On June 30th it will be the 20th anniversary of my love affair with my 88 IROC Z convertible 305 tpi 5 spd loaded out. Flew from Pcola to Fort Worth to get her. I get just as much of a kick out of her as i did 20 years ago.
