ormond beach here. not much has been going on in the area lately. as for me just finished with full exhaust on the 88. hopefully gonna make it out to the u pull it sunday morning dont know yet. i likes to browse for new used stuff.
There's a car and bike "super swap meet" on US 1 in Ormond Beach on June 14th.
Free admission. I don't know if it's a combined "show and swap meet" thing but you could check it out.

my car isnt running cause ive made it my project car. need a sbc motor atleast a 350, a transmission, and a new rear end. the u pull it in town doesnt really have much for the last few months. but i heard the one in orlando has alot and im hoping to go down to it soon.

i went to the one this month(on mothers day) not much happend guessing cause of the holiday tho. they have parts alot of it was motorcycle stuff tho. its up at destination daytona near i-95 on us1 heading towards bunnel. supposed to be happening one sunday every month

I don't know who you heard that from or when that person went, but last time I went to the one in orlando which was maybe 2 weeks ago they had only 4 3rdgens there. 3 of them being v6 cars. Maybe they've stocked up a little since? They did have a big empty space in the GM section.

called the guy, he says that it has a small bottom end knock. says it prolly needs a crank kit? dunno if its worth it lol...but planning on going to take a look either today or sometime closer to the weekend

if there's a you pull it junkyard near you, try there. the ones here have tons of older 3rd gens. like 86ish. maybe be hard to find a fender without some dings, but the spindle and control arm should be there. I'm like 99% sure all the years are the same. while your there, look for some ls1 calipers. they are about the best upgrade I've done to mine.

We get together on a monthly basis, anywhere across Central Fla, from Tampa/Clearwater/St.Pete/Bradenton/Ocala/Orlando/Vero Beach and surrounding areas, and points in between, when cool weather sets in we start hitting the track in the areas, but we may just go anytime for the fun of it.
anyone interested in a third gen meet in the space coast area once a month? I am trying to set up something and so far, about 5-10 people are interested. anyone else interested? the final decisions are being made over at fl-third gen site. need to know.
We are going to have it held every third wednesday of the month starting august 19th 2009. it will be at Hooters in Melbourne on Babcock road if anyone is familiar with it. At aroung 6:30 ish, so be sure to come and bring those hot (f) bodies with you.
anyway we can make this some kind of sticky for the space coast area? just wondering?
Sweet I typically go there on wed. to the local car show but cars been down for some revamping, ugh!!!!.If you guys need Dynos we do that at the shop I work at Beachside automotive and we will be having another dyno day August 9th.
Ive been on the site for a few years now, but i just picked up my first 3rd gen yesterday. I live in the broward area (south florida) and drove up to tampa to pick it up and bring it home. pulled into my house around 7am with it. 91 RS. Pretty much stock at the moment...even a stock exhaust.
been busy lately not online but i am moving from ormond to palm coast. i know jj wants to hook up once his car is going. i have a few things to do to the 88 but it still drives good. i would like to meet up sometime once i am done moving and settled into the new apt. lets try to get something together in the next month or so.

had a total of like 15 camaro/firebirds, 3rd/4th gens show up.
August 29th we are doing a Bradenton, see the Bradenton thread, and I think Sept, we are going to plan a Vero meet.
Trying to get something planned for the Bradenton area, it will be held on Sat. August 29th the end of the month. This time its just meet for dinner/hangout, no car show.

nice i live in palm bay so this is great for me, my car sgould be hitting the strrets very shortly hopefully before my leave is up
its hasnt been on the streets in about 6 months for the rebuild but it marron 89 rs im finishing the exhaust then it should be good to go. I live in NW palm bay what about you?
Both cars running? Hopefully we can get a meet going for sometime next month.
88 gta has no front clip right now a motor cycle fell off a truck and smashed the whole front end of it and the rs was my daily till it spun a main bearing about a month ago but i should be getting a new crank and bearing for it this week.. will see with that one.
