Car: 91 Camaro RS Engine: 305 TBI Transmission: 700R4 Axle/Gears: 2.73 Posi w/Disc | Awww, yeah? I would SOOOO much prefer to live in Margate. Cops there suck big ones, but other than that I like it. I was trying to move there, but both of my roommate's bailed on me about a week ago. Grrr...Now I'm stuck down south in "Trashyville".

Car: 91 Camaro RS Engine: 305 TBI Transmission: 700R4 Axle/Gears: 2.73 Posi w/Disc | In that strong-*** storm yesterday, I had a driveway basketball hoop repeatedly slam down on my car -- toasted the hood & both front fenders, but it doesn't look like anything else. At least they're all removable panels. |

Car: 91 Camaro RS Engine: 305 TBI Transmission: 700R4 Axle/Gears: 2.73 Posi w/Disc | I was at work (I work out of my bosses house). My car was parked in the driveway and my alarm went off in the beginning of the storm. I went out to check and saw the basketball hoop had fallen over onto my hood. I killed the alarm and rearmed it. Five minutes later...same thing. And again and again and again; etc... I thought it looked as though most of the damage was done the first time. I still believe that. The rain was crazy heavy and I knew I had to replace fenders at that point anyway, so I just let it go. I eventually had to disarm the alarm because it was almost constantly going off.
My hood has several 6" long creases in it from the basketball hoop, the driver's fender has divets from the pole slamming into it and the passenger's is barely damaged, but I needed to replace it anyway. That (along with some REALLY BAD news I received the night before) was why I really didn't care about the damage. A month ago, my passenger's fender got dinged hard enough that the passenger's door no longer opens. I had to replace the fender anyway and to do the other fender while I'm at it is only about 15 minutes extra work. The hood I eventually wanted to replace with a cowl, but until then I can bondo it to smooth it out. |

They will probably just declare it a total and then you are screwed. I have a friend whose '89 Firebird had one of the T-tops smashed during Wilma. Nothing else other than some water damage and the insurance company totaled it. So, Beware. By the way, I don't know what kind of really bad news you had found out the night before that happened, but it must have been pretty serious sH*t to bum you out so bad that you did not care about the car.....hang in there, though.

I did not really notice the latest addition to the passenger side.....I will have to pay closer attention the next time you fly on by...

| we dont have a garage and the majority of our field is lowstanding
so we just park the cars on the opposite side of the house from the trees and as close as possible(out of puddles, and protected from falling trees) |

I have a new t/a hood that even matched the paint almost perfectly. I put an lt1 cam in the 305, i working on tuning now. And just today i picked up my ls1 rear disk brakes for $60 at a local junkyard. So i get to put those on soon. Other than that, nothin much has happened. Are you going to g10? |
