has anybody in oldsmar/palm harbor area seen a sweet looking silver or grey 86 or 87 T/A with drag lites at the sat night tampa area car shows? i saw it sat cruising down tampa rd with a yellow 82/ 83 ta
thanx shag! i'll check them out. my hood flew up a while back and after bending new wings it dented both quarter panels coming down. (happened on 75 right before NFM bridge--sucked) I've since bought a parts car, but will need paint job after the swap. i would like to get it all done at the same shop ( straighten, alighn, and paint) what's the name of the shop on cargo street? thanx.
Awww, yeah? I would SOOOO much prefer to live in Margate. Cops there suck big ones, but other than that I like it. I was trying to move there, but both of my roommate's bailed on me about a week ago. Grrr...Now I'm stuck down south in "Trashyville".

Anywhere from pine island down to powerline. 7:10-8:00ish, and 4:30-5:15ish.
Dude, I finally saw your ride buzzing down Cypress Creek Road the other day. It was too late to catch you. You appeared to be on a mission....a few lane changes....you must really like your job!
If you see it lately notice the new cardboard/garbage bag that I have where there is no more passenger window, and a new dent in the passenger door. Wifey got backed into going through the burger king drive through.....
In that strong-*** storm yesterday, I had a driveway basketball hoop repeatedly slam down on my car -- toasted the hood & both front fenders, but it doesn't look like anything else. At least they're all removable panels.
I was at work (I work out of my bosses house). My car was parked in the driveway and my alarm went off in the beginning of the storm. I went out to check and saw the basketball hoop had fallen over onto my hood. I killed the alarm and rearmed it. Five minutes later...same thing. And again and again and again; etc... I thought it looked as though most of the damage was done the first time. I still believe that. The rain was crazy heavy and I knew I had to replace fenders at that point anyway, so I just let it go. I eventually had to disarm the alarm because it was almost constantly going off.
My hood has several 6" long creases in it from the basketball hoop, the driver's fender has divets from the pole slamming into it and the passenger's is barely damaged, but I needed to replace it anyway. That (along with some REALLY BAD news I received the night before) was why I really didn't care about the damage. A month ago, my passenger's fender got dinged hard enough that the passenger's door no longer opens. I had to replace the fender anyway and to do the other fender while I'm at it is only about 15 minutes extra work. The hood I eventually wanted to replace with a cowl, but until then I can bondo it to smooth it out.

Dude, I hope you are not wasting your time and contacting your insurance company. They will probably just declare it a total and then you are screwed. I have a friend whose '89 Firebird had one of the T-tops smashed during Wilma. Nothing else other than some water damage and the insurance company totaled it. So, Beware. By the way, I don't know what kind of really bad news you had found out the night before that happened, but it must have been pretty serious sH*t to bum you out so bad that you did not care about the car.....hang in there, though.

Yes, I am shocked to hear it's a 2.8. I did not really notice the latest addition to the passenger side.....I will have to pay closer attention the next time you fly on by...

It was actually the worst news I think I could ever receive. Thanks for caring.
your not the only one having problems with their car, i just rear ended a truck last week, then a car backed into the rear pass quarter panel and left while i was at work..
Good to hear. I guess since I have been heading to work progressively later lately (getting a lazy streak for some reason), I must not be on the road yet at the time you buzz through...
we dont have a garage and the majority of our field is lowstanding
so we just park the cars on the opposite side of the house from the trees and as close as possible(out of puddles, and protected from falling trees)
just wanted to update you guys engine is halfway done, working on finishing pulling the wiring harness and other stuff as soon as i get home for the summer.
Also halfway done with manual steering swap(got it mounted but gotta repull to get pitman arm swapped...).
Friend is gonna do sfc's for me, got new front struts for the car, and used strut mounts since mine were shot.
92transam16 - I've finally been able to start working on the car. How's your's going?
Its getting there, slowly but steadly, as i said above i rearended a truck, which crushed the hood ad put a hole in my bumper. I have a new t/a hood that even matched the paint almost perfectly. I put an lt1 cam in the 305, i working on tuning now. And just today i picked up my ls1 rear disk brakes for $60 at a local junkyard. So i get to put those on soon. Other than that, nothin much has happened. Are you going to g10?
Im in Tampa. I need to get my sig up soon. I think Ill do it now. Ive been on Z28.com now for some time and need to pay more attention to 3rd gen stuff. Ill introduce myself in the newbie section and introduce my flamaro to you all.......be scared

Were you at Stake and Shake in Sanford a couple weeks ago?
I just noticed the rollbar, and remembered a black z28 with no backseat, a rollbar and a hood like yours.....dont remember the console thoough. (?)
Well, if it was you, and you walked around, you prob. saw my white z28. I was next to my dads Orange vette(C6), and a red Lingenfelter (C6)was next to my dad.
I live in Orange Park.....right outside of Jacksonville
**** !!! Me too man, well actually Lake Asbury middleburg area but same difference. You should go to some of the car shows around here, I go all the time.
Yeah normally when someone asks me where I live, I just reply "The place with the manatees" and they get a pretty good idea of where its at. For living here my whole life(20yrs.) I have hardly ever gone into the river and have never went diving.
yup ive been there, snorkeled with the manatees at homossassa springs, swam the rainbow river from the springs down, and snorkeled with the manatees at crystal river, fun stuff so long ago.... i was 11.... lol
anyone know of a moser dealer in the palm beach area?
Acually I think it was Inglis where he made a movie, which is just a little north of here, He also had a house there and they named thier only main road after the movie. Jeepers Creepers was also filmed in Dunnellon which is about the same distance away from here as Inglis is.

Perhaps one day you'll give it try....it's one of those things you HAVE to say you did once...besides, after the dive you can hang in the boat and drink a beer!!
Anyone in the Tampa area. Crystal river isnt too far. I used to highway lighting on the polk and suncoast parkways. I believe Cystal River is near one of those damn places
