Anyone in the Tampa area. Crystal river isnt too far. I used to highway lighting on the polk and suncoast parkways. I believe Cystal River is near one of those damn places

Hi, I am from Ft. Walton Beach up in the north west panhandle. I hope to be a future 92' Z28 owner soon.
My buddy here owns a 85' Camaro that he is fixing up, and he showed me this site.
He is going to build a 383 Stroker out of a 350 that I gave him. He's going to soup it to about 500-600 HP and he wants at least 500 HP at the wheels. That should get him around fairly quick.
Me? I just sold my 86' Monte Carlo LS due to cancer (rust) issues all over the top of it. Now i'm looking to get me a 92' so I can drop a motor in it that i'm building now.
I didnt get there till around 8 or so, I was there with my Formula 350. Saw one other Third Gen there, a white RS. There was a decent showing of F-Bodies mostly fourth gen. I enjoyed it, there was something for everyone's tastes there. From older muscle cars to bad a$$ modern cars. I'd definitely head down again sometime.
Florida is a great state to have a convertible in!

- cars' in a million pieces now. All interior out, entire fron t clip off/apart, doors off, toneau off, complete top out, trunk lid off...etc
Motor and front suspension is all that's left at the moment....
I moved to Lehigh, so atleast I have a single garage now.....

As a side note, I am always willing to give a helping hand to anyone local to me that may need it. Not suggesting that I know a lot, but willing to offer that extra hand or 2 if needed.

Dans87GTA lives there, but his car is down here at my house at the moment. We just did his BMR tq arm and I'm about to finish his trans. He's sporting my "chico" K5-blazer around.....I'm up there from time-to-time to see some freinds and run at craptastic speedworld.

Xgtharo86X ya thats me thats my red dragon look for my car back up here around oct. it should be ready for some new fast times. third trans going in it but i have a feeling this one will hold up. we should get together go to a couple shows and if you want to run at the track i try to go atleast once a month. just let me know. also if you ever need an extra hand with anything im all about turning wrenches on a third gen. my dad owns a machine shop if you ever need any work done of anyone will to come to central florida its called gerald and charlies in sanford FL. 407-322-7526 ask for Joe. my # is 407-405-3663 ask for Daniel Welcome to Florida. Well no longer in pembroke pines, I moved to Orlando recently and tommorow Im driving the car up there (now that the rear end is rebuilt)
Any good Fbody mechanics in Orlando that I should know of......in a year or so Imma be looking at rebuilding my LT1 and maybe strokin it 383 style.....oh and im having LT1 wiring trouble if anyone has an LT1 in orlando and you wanna meet n maybe help my *** out let me know lol....oh I attend ucf
My dad knows a guy that comes up to his shop and thats all he deals with is LT1's ill get the name of the guy and his shop if he has one assuming he does he told my dad he has a flow bench. Later Daniel

Man, im definently gonna keep that shop in mined when it comes to redoing the LT1 which will be next year sometime....so where exactly do any third geners hang out in and around Orange etc? I just sorta chill at my place...cant find anything to do up there
well as ar as third gens i dont really know i used to go hang out by UCF but dumb *** ricers would rev their exhaust and race leaving the place so the cops made us leave. if your fimilar with that area by ucf theres a new steak and shake being built on university if your coming from ucf its on the left hand side i heard some cars meet up there on monday nights but im not sure havent gone yet. i would love to get a couple of guys together and get a club meet somewhere once or twice a week i think it would be cool. so what do you think guys im down with it anybody else in or around central florida what to get in on this? Im down man, steak n shake is built already (late night runs) haha....ive been up there a month now commin back up today (from pickin up car)....I live a mile down alafaya from the college so Im only a mile from that steak n shake. If a couple more wanna come that would be awsome, im definently down for seeing some other 3rd gens.

on wendsday nights the florida drift guys meet up thier with there cars, thats what ive heard anyway they used to meet a sonics on university. i down with gettin a thirdgen meet going just give me a call Dans87GTA.
