There may be a few people that can help you do the work. There are also a few that know of some good shops. We will get a few of them to post up. If not, come out to the cruise-in and we can get you with the right people for help.
Hopefully there will be a better turn out next time. We'll be glad to help you get there. On a positive note, the aforementioned RS dodged the bullet Saturday night and lives again.
Agreed...I just know I would like to get in contact with a good little shop thank appreciates and understands these cars. Like they are just air gas & spark to alot of guys that attitude has gotten me in touble when a mechanic looking for a buck says....sure I can fix that.
I may do the little stuff my self I am not that much of a wuss we will see. But hey I will buy the parts pizza & beer if you got the time.....ha ha ha h
With the Super Chevy show at Zmax this weekend there's most likely not going to be anyone there this weekend. How far are you from Matthews? There's a cruise in at South 21 restaurant on Hwy 74 every 1st and 3rd Friday starting at 6pm which some of us attend as well.
I live right by there, I actually drive by there all the time to look at the older cars. Mines isnt much to show for though as I just got it and its in the restoration/ modifying stage.

What? How have I never seen this before, I live no more than a 20 minute walk from there. ha, jeeze, I'm gonna have to show up next friday.
There is also a "Cruise in" Downtown Concord on Saturday afternoon as well 3:30-9pm
Also there is a show in Mt. Pleassant (Sat)- that one is a fund raiser for a food bank I think. $10 registration at the location. There will be cars from 11-3 and also a WWII demonstration, helicopters, food and kids games. A family event. I have a flyer somewhere. I will post better info if I can find it.
Yea the meet is awesome, I saw a lime superbird, there last week, not sure if it was the real deal or not though.
Myself and a couple of other club members were there as well. Saw the Superbird parked next to what looked to be a Mini Cooper race car which was cool.
well I live near Gastonia but I still have some work to do on my camaro before I am going to be ready for any cruise ins but I am glad to know there is a club near by

Mike,
Does this mean that we won't be out there this Saturday? I still had plans to be there but I don't want to be the only one.
Check with Patrick and see for sure but after the near nothing turnout when they had the Pinks event I'm not planning to go unless there are others going. Ed Miller said he's looking to come up so if you are as well then I'll do the same.
I won't be there tonight. I can't do anything about the motor right now. If someone offers you the cash sell it, but if you've still got it once I get some other matters taken care of money wise I'll take it off your hands. I'm looking at another 2 months at least before I'll have "disposable" income for car projects again.
So anybody going to be there tomorrow? If yes what time?? The club website says one thing but the ad in Crusin Carolina says another......what time are you guys there......Do any of you ever go to Concord and then over to the sonic????
LMK - I want to come out tomoroow if the rain holds off
I was wondering if anyone in the area could help me take a look at my car sometime. I cant figure out whats wrong with it and I even had a shop look at it. It idles high and if it drops below 800rpm itll completely die. If someone in the area can help me lemme know thanks.

Anything going on in the latter part of November I am getting leave around that time and would like to hang with some other third gen people with insite to my surrounding areas in NC I am anxious to get my third gen up to par for shows and cruissin purposes.
I believe the Hendrick Motorsports charity car show is happening the weekend of the 21st in November. Some of us usually make that show to raise money for Toys for Tots.
The day after Thanksgiving is the Speedway run also. You can donate money or purchase some of the leftover racing items to get a chance to drive your car on the speedway.
