Dragways in NC

Hey guys, I have only lived in NC for a few months now and I'm wondering where I can find a 1/4 mile track to run on. I live in Durham, but I could drive a little ways.

A 91 RS still with a 305. I'm going to do some bolt ons such as gears and exhaust, maybe some vortecs and then I'll probably buy a short block or just whole truck motor so I can have a 350 or 383.

I go to Dunn-Benson regularly (I'll be going tomorrow), it's not a bad track and they have plans to extend to a 1/4 mile within the next year or 2. Can't beat test n tune Thursdays. $5 to get in and $5 to race all night.

Re: Dragways in NC

NC has four 1/4 mile tracks.

Jacksonville, Fayetteville, Rockingham, and Kinston.

And soon to be one in Charlotte.

Are you going to Drag Day this Sunday at CPD? I'll be racing.

BTW, we meet at Big-K every Tuesday and Saturday night.
