Car: 89 RS Engine: LO3, 305 TBI with some mods Transmission: Custom Built 700R4 with B&M Shifter Axle/Gears: 2.73, barks tires going in 2nd :o) | Keep a fellow member in your thoughts UncleTom, a member of TGO and our local car club Gulf Coast Third Gens, was in a bad wreck in his camaro comming back from a car show today, he is a REAL lucky man, the car was split in 2....... we had 6 members come to his side at the hospital, 2 of us drove 100 miles to see him
But he is walking and allready back home......just keep him in your thoughts and prayers, im sure he is in alot of pain in more ways then one, he had a really nice car with some fresh paint, but we are making a point in our club to get together and help him get another 3rd
This is kinda scary, could of been any of us (i hate it was one of us).....keep it safe out there guys |

Car: 1984 Z28 Engine: 4bbl 305ci Transmission: 700R4 Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 3.42 w/ Auburn LSD | Re: Keep a fellow member in your thoughts okay here at tom's request is the one picture of his car the cops didn't make me delete from my camera.
We were headed to Cooter's place to hangout and check out his camaro. We were turning off of Highway 49 onto O'neal Road. Cooter was up front leading the way and had already crossed 49. I was following Uncle Tom because i had never been to Cooter's place before. Well there were two cars in the turning lane opposite us and I nor Tom seen anyone coming so Tom proceed through the intersection. When he got halfway across the highway a F150 came barreling down the center lane and broadsided Tom completely removing the rear of the car. Cooter and I both baled out of our vehicles leaving them in the middle of the road and ran to Tom's side.
Cooter and i were there at Memorial hospital with Tom from 3 till about 8 when they released him. Ken and Dewayne stopped by to check on him and Jason and Dj drove from Fairhope to be there for him.
The little pickup truck you see was hit by the back of tom's car.
I may not be a church follower but man someone or something was sure with you in that car!

What I'm wondering is why the cops made HyperZ delete the pics from his camera? Did they not want the accident documented? |

Even though i saw the event first hand they didn't even want to talk or see me. There was a fireman there taking pictures also. i dunno.

Man that really sucks. Your car is pretty much ripped in half. That is incredible that you are Fine. You must have had some protectors with you yesterday. I hope everything goes okay and you don't get screwed over by the insurance companies. Do you have any pictures of the front of the car?

i hit a stoped full size van in a satty going 65, and did less damage to it then that F-1poopy has, and plus the damage on the little truck that toms back end hit.....if his back end was acceled that fast, clearly that truck was doing more than 55
