Apperently those things run a hell of a lot faster than dogs! And a hell of a lot harder to avoid collusion, especially with a road that has no shoulder (and when you cant see them)...
About a year ago I needed $20 for late fees for classes... Needless to say, no one in my family would loan it to me. So the Camaro went to the JYard for $100...
About how far are you from Sevier County? I hope to meet some people with common intrests, since I will know ~ no one...
Any cheap you-pull-its in Knox area? Like the ones here in South FL; 200 for complete engine, 100 tranny, and 5 for just about anything else... etc... I like those that it doesnt matter what it comes out of, price goes by part, not by car...
the place to go around here is pullapart.com and i live near nashville like 2hrs or so out from knoxville. so your telling me that you had to junk your car over that it looks easily repairable

Actually it was a little more than an easy repair. The front clip popped back out... Everything behind it, on the other hand, didn't... More like detroyed, all the metal behind it was pushed to the engine.
I know it may look like a fender and hood replacement, but I assure you it was much much more.
Thanks for the link!

The PAP inventory has known to be wrong on numerous occasions. I'm there at least weekly. Last week, there were two fourth gens, about five or six third gens, and one second gen. Best option is to pay the $1 entry fee and walk around looking for the cars.
Yes, yes it was. Already stripped and a base model anyways, I believe. Did you see the Monte Carlo that was stripped for track? Roll cage, lexan windows, and all.
Second seems to be more genralized... I think he was looking more for an FBody club... And seems dead...
The first one shows the existence of a Knoxville-area fbody club. I don't know what the guy is doing with it. Maybe he'll see this thread and have some input. HPT is generalized, but contains a LOT of fbody guys in the Knoxville area. There's always gatherings of fbody guys from HPT being organized.

Depends on the area you're in. Nashville has emissions testing. Knoxville has none at all. I'm somewhat certain that outside the large cities(Nashville, Memphis) there isn't any emissions testing.

Well, let's start a strictly f-body club in the East Tennessee area. All we need are a lot of fanatic f-body owners and a name. Sounds like fun to me.
Deff alot of those people. Maybe try some other FBody forums.

Thanks. I am trying to work on the few minor problems. A dented fender and hood. Right now though i am just enjoying the ride and the sound of the dual catless exhaust
Mine had a few major problems and its share of minor things also. It is still in pieces but the new engine is almost ready to drop in. In fact I think we'll be doing that next weekend.
Bringing my 2 Trans Ams to Knoxville tomorrow.. then moving the rest of the stuff next tuesday....
