yea me to, people been asking me about the show at work, i been telling them, to bad i got to wait a year to go back
I didnt get to go o G-13 but I did get to do the Varsity run, mainly cuz I was meeting SSean92 up there. There were a LOT of nice cars. Even the Pontiac that dumped its coolant all over the Parking lot
I've apparently been in internet seclusion for months.. I just realized I won my class?
Anyways had a great time as always, good seeing a few new faces. Hopefully we can get a TGO section going next year, would love to help out if I can. For those that don't get my retarded SN, this was me, photo courtesy of Jason.
glad to see you took a win. the car looked great. good meeting you that weekend, and i wold also like to see a tgo group next year. im hoping to be there again, however, i might be in afganistan at that time.

Likewise Tony, hope you can make it out next year.
Picture thievery is no laughing matter! lol Thanks dude.
I talked to the guy that gives the awards out and I'm supposed to go meet up with him to pick mine up. I will inquire about a TGO section and see who we need to talk to. Will let you guys know, hopefully we can keep everyone excited for another 10 months
I missed the gathering this year, woulda been my first may with the camaros and my first gathering. I'll prob hit it up next year, only if I can find a trailor for the 89.
I talked to the awards guy and we WILL have a TGO section next year. All you need to do is put in TGO in the club section when you register. Hopefully we can get a big group of third gens all parked together. Can't wait!
I went to g-10 and had a good time. as we get closer to showtime we can workout meeting up somewhere to caravan. with some luck, we can join a bigger convoy coming from the north or south. ill let you know what you would need to bring.
If i can get a motor and tranny in mine by then i'll deff caravan with you up there, oh and a set of front seats... that'd be all the main stuff to throw in there, i ain't ashamed of having a half complete project up there lol
Come on if you can. There are cars there in all sorts of conditions, so if it is not complete it does not matter. There are some people there who don't own an F-body. They are fans of the cars. G-15 will be on Memorial weekend. You will have a great time if your car is complete of not. Its a family oriented event, however the kids are in their rooms by 10PM, and the adult party goes on all night long.

So that's why I'm always in bed at 10. Ya'll been putting something in my drink? LOL Did you find a battery for Amanda yet? Thought about Douglas in Winston but I heard this weekend they were bought out. Classic Industries may be able to hook you up.

I've got a set of high back buckets if you want them. They're the cheap gray cloth. Tired of them in the shop.

Betty and I are usually in bed early at the gatherings also. We figured it is because we are old, and get real tired being outside in the heat all day.
As for the battery, no I have not bought the correct Delco battery yet. Thanks for the suggestions. I will have to check those sites. Amanda still has the Wally World battery in it, and it is working fine. With the holidays, some brutal winter weather, and work, I have not put any effort into searching for a battery. We have had snow up to our knees for weeks and the temps rarely get above 30F, so I have not done much outside. I have been opening up the trailer once a week and running the engine. Due to the snow, I back the car out onto the ramp then pull her back in the trailer, just to make sure that she moves out of one spot. I figure that if I get the car out in the snow, it will be stuck there until the snow melts. The snow is up to the hubs on the trailer.
86, sorry Amanda's stuck in the trailer but it's not fit outside for her right now. Hope all of you are staying warm, we were in Winston this weekend and had enough of the white stuff for this year. Douglas battery used to rebuild batteries in Winston but I believe they were bought out. Maybe other battery companies still do this. As long as you got a case. Give me a shout if you decide to get out for a show or something before G15. Pilot Mountain has a cruise in the first Saturday every month starting in the spring. I went in September this year and it's HUGE. The police department put it on but it's great. They've got a website when I find it I'm planning on starting a thread here. Happy Holidays to everyone and we'll see you at G15.
That Pilot Mountain thing sounds great! We may check that out.
Thanks for the information about the battery.
I don't have the OEM battery case. I did not think about keeping it. It was turned in as a core. Delco makes a replacement battery for my car, the 75-7YR. The car came originally with a Delco Freedom Battery, so this 75-7YR is very similiar to the OE battery. I may just go with that battery, and consider it close enough.

Reason: spelling
Im a newer owner of an F-body, and i absolutely love seeing other owners around town, so for there to be a meeting with them would be amazing... anyways, do you guys know if there is a caravan from the midwest, Colorado region preferably?
