Thinking of Selling my 89 Trans Am GTA
So the title says it all. I feel like I need some space around the house because of the new toy a 2011 Nissan 370Z Nismo and unfortunately the 89 is the car that I haven't had on the road yet.
When I picked this car up it didn't run, it had been sitting for at least 6 years, I've replaced everything that has to do with the fuel system and she runs and drives but still needs more TLC. as of now she sleeps in the garage every night.
My actual question is how many of you guys have sold your car and then in the end regretted doing so? Please help me out I've been back and forth about selling her or keeping her.

Re: Thinking of Selling my 89 Trans Am GTA
It is easy to regret and you never seem to get enough money for them. I am in a similar situation with my Iroc and GT-R. The Iroc just got too expensive to keep it running fast and it has put up a huge fight the whole way. The GT-R made more financial sense (crazy I know). Those Nismo 370's look amazing btw.
Anyway one piece of logic I'm using with to justify keeping the Iroc around is that having two play cars to choose from means each will get less miles because they won't be used every time you want to go play. And for higher end cars like our Nissans that is a good thing to keep low for long term value.
As for regret, in your case, it might not be much of a factor since you haven't spent much time behind the wheel on it.

Car: 89 Camaro RS running MS2X
Engine: .48/.60AR T3/T4 2.8L V6
Transmission: Rebuilt 700R4 2500 stall
Axle/Gears: Next to break...
Ill never get rid of my 89 RS. Maybe because its my first car. But most likely because of all I have put into it. Whichever the case, its not going anywhere. Cause we all know the moment its sold, youll be kicking yourself in the *** every day afterwards.
