Used to have an 88 Iroc about 6-8 years ago... Sold it to help a family member.

I picked up a '90 RS last weekend as a project but I'm not sure which direction I want to go with it. It's a 305 (I believe) TBI the P.O. claimed a 350 swap but I don't believe it. Haven't been able to make out any casting numbers but the engine bay is filthy. I'd like to do a vortec 350/t5 swap but may end up leaving it as is.

Just wanted to say what's up. maybe someday I can get another Iroc in great condition. I've been playing the lotto in hopes of winning enough to talk maroon88iroc out of his lol. Hope everyone is doing well.

Added a couple pics...first is my old IROC i miss every day and the pretty-worn RS I bought recently.

Thanks but that's an old pic lol. The clear started going on the top hood and deck lid a couple years ago so it's two tone now. I primed all that satin black with that hot rod primer you see on rat rods. At least it's not all milky and peeling looks decent. Need to put some recent pics up. But good luck on the car.

Lol yeah that was the first thing I did was replace both front tires. My plan ATM is to swap in a mild 350 and 5 or 6 speed. The current 305 smokes and the 700r4 slips so I dunno how long they're gonna last. But I've also been reading on here about 454 swaps......
