A few people recommended the band-style clamps to me. Sure they look cool, but every single one leaks (water *and* exhaust). So I want to get my new system welded up this week. Any recommendations?
They have a lot of experience with third gens, thanks to Tim Burgess and myself. They done custom work for both of us, including our track systems. Jimmy is a very meticulous guy...
BTW, do you still want a copy of the video from SIR?
I can't stop by this evening, I just got back from a business trip and have to make up all my homework. =(
I actually saw that C4 cruising Speedway last night, I think he moved here. Here's what the slip looked like from that run:

If he had my 60', he'd be in the 13's. I don't have that kinda power... yet. I *can't* wait to try out the new exhaust and ported plenum, I think it really freed up my high RPM range where I was falling flat.
Exhaust works is really expensive. My friend Justin is the former Sarnoff location Exhaust works welding guru.......he quit and started his own business called Eastside Performance Exhaust, his prices can't be beat and his work is superior to anything I've seen in Tucson. He custom made a 3inch mandrel bent exhaust for my Grand Prix for $120! Let me know if you want to hook up with him.

I'm going to get a price from exhaust works for what I need done, then compare it against what Eastside gives me then.
Right now my S pipe contacts the crossmember, my cats contact each other sometimes, the 3" pipe going into the muffler contacts the crossbar over my panhard bar, and the muffler itself is really close to the heat shield.... then I need a cutout welded in, and to weld the rest up except for 1 joint. I wouldn't think this would cost me that much since I already installed everything.. but I've never had anyone do exhaust for me before so who knows.
