I have a 1988 RS with less than 97,000 original miles. Everything on it works. It has A/C, power windows, power door locks, and power hatch release and pull down. It also has tilt wheel, cruise control and quick ratio steering. The car has a 2.8 MPFI with a 700R4. This could be of great interest someone considering a V8 swap. Guaranteed that the chassis is not tweaked like a V8 car. Nothing is easier on the chassis than a low mileage 6 cyl. and auto...and it will get great gas mileage. Right now I'm getting 22 city and 31 highway miles. It has a set of AGX 8 way adjustable struts and Bilsteins in the rear. I have a FlowMaster catback exhaust, K&N filters and a MSD 6A ignition. The car is freshly painted. It is rust free. It currently has an IROC hood and ....the RS's came with the IROC style ground effects. I have pictures of the car painted as well as sanded and ready for the paint shop so you can see that there is no rust or serious damage. It runs on GTA wheels ( the lightest factory 3rd gen wheels available) and Toyo Proxies. The interior is in very good condition, as you would imagine a low mileage car to be. The interior is black. It's got a nice Kenwood stereo. The car has been very reliable and fun to drive. More pictures for the car are available if you are interested. Send me your e-mail address. I am asking $2900. There are cheap flights into Albuq. NM from Southwest. I have a Spohn T5/700R4 crossmember and a pair of front Bell Tech V8 springs that I will throw in. The pictures shown have the rear wing deleted but it is painted and ready to install. The press made such a fuss about how unattractive it was when it came out, I was reluctant to reinstall it. The wing is unique to this model of car and found on no other Camaro.

It's my second 3rd Gen. and I've enjoyed it. My first was a 1985 IROC that was heavily modded and a real rocket. 3rd gens are a great platform to try new ideas that I've had in the old brain pan. My '85 had a clone of this motor.

I've always wanted to build one but didn't have the platform to put it to good use because of cost. The 3rd gen was the perfect platform because I picked up the car cheap on ebay and it already had the full tilt Global West handling mods I was going to add. Where else can you purchase a great handling, aerodynamic platform for cheap that is supported by so many aftermarket companies? Big thumbs up to the 3rd generation F-car!!

Yes, I do. My registration is up and I have to get it emissions checked. I figured if I can sell it soon, I can get the emissions done for the new owner rather than get it done for me, sell it and have the new owner have to get a new check. You should come look at it. Maybe we can meet somewhere. I'm in the SE heights near the Air Force Base. What part of town are you?
