I am going to be driving down to Phoenix in February with a few friends and we are interested in checking out some auto wreckers.
What auto wrecker would have the best selection of thirdgens, specifically 91/92 Firebirds and also who would have the best selection of 98-02 Fbody's. Thanks.

The "Pull a part" type yards have a fair selection of thirdgen parts. Bring some tools. fourthgen parts are a little harder to come by. We have so many different yards here that everything spread out a little.
Plus most yards scrapped out six months ago in the big $300 a ton scrap metal rush.
I probably have more parts cars then most of the yards around here. (Camaros)
Selection all depends on when they crush them. Usually get 3-7 cars to get stuff from, but some are stripped out by the south of the border people. Best to get there early in the morning and go from there. Check Broadway Rd. out by 35th Ave. and go east. You'll find some good yards there.
Also why do you people from Canada invade Arizona during the winter months? I see more Canada liscence plates in Jan. then Arizona ones here. Just how cold is it up there?

Lots of retired people where I live and elsewhere in Canada like Arizona for the weather and the golf courses among other things. Right now it is -21 C or roughly -5 F. On Saturday night it is supposed to be -35 C or - 27 F. It is colder than usual right now so you can see why it is so appealing to escape the cold and visit AZ in the winter.
