I currently have a tpi 305 in it with a blown head gasket. I don't have the skills nor the tools to be working on any engine by myself, so to make a long story short; I came to the conclusion that it would most likely cost me the same just to swap out the 305 with a used/rebuilt 350. So I'm here asking if there's anyone here, or if anyone knows someone who would be willing to sell me a 350 and install it on my tpi system for me. Just let me know how much. I'm located in Glendale,Az btw

Reason: location
hate to burst your bubble but replacing a head gasket isnt a big deal, assuming the block is in good shape and the heads arent warped its about 80$ whereas building a motor, takes more time and more headaches, also if your going to put a used 350 on your car, whats the point? swapping should be done with a new setup IMO and you also have to consider your tranny, if its stick youll be replacing it in the next year depending on how you drive, if youve got a 700R4, well the its your call

Don't worry you're not bursting my bubble and I'm pleased to see people on here actually looking out for one another by warning eachother. I've already done all of the research I have to on this swap, and its taking place as I type this. I have a friend who had his 5.7 rear ended and he sold me the motor, prom, ecm, and esc module all for $500. Then I bought a new knock sensor, new 22lb fuel injectors, and subframe connectors (due to me having t-tops n all). Finally I went on craigslist and found me a t-56 for $700. All should be in my car by the end of the weekend.
