Probably not. I've got 3 weekends to finish prepping the car to head east for 8 days of racing in Nebraska, Tennessee, and Kentucky at the beginning of September. But later in the fall we'll make it out to something.

We're taking the 88 GTA to a Pro-Touring event called Run to Music City in Nashville to run the oval track and some autox. Then off to Lincoln NE for the SCCA Nationals for 3 days. Then back to Bowling Green for 3 days at Holley LSFest to race there. Class changes with each event but the common factor is the car must be street legal, insured, plated, and on 200 treadwear tires. Should be a fun week of destroying 2 sets of tires.

Vert needs some interior love. Just waiting on some parts to come in. Had to replace the body harness for my speedometer issue when I converted to SD TPI. Will probably be testing this weekend to make sure things are working properly, but we'll see how my job ends each day. Last 2 days I've gotten home late.

wow beater that sounds like a blast I would love to get the chance to hammer on my car like that.. yeah I know how how it is getting things together and seeing how they work and tuning it up hope it goes smooth let me know when your all down to melt some tires of our cars

The fun is keeping up with rules changes. 3 years ago we put in racing seats and 4 point harnesses. This year we have to add a HANS device for driver safety and update to a minimum 5 pt harness. But the seats we have don't work with the HANS so new seats and 6 pt belts are on the way. We also need a second set of tires mounted and ready to go because the first set will likely not make it all the way through the first 2 stages. A new fire extinguisher needs to be mounted (thanks to whoever it was at the Pavilions who broke the mount on the previous one) There are general maintenance items to be dealt with. And it looks like we made top 5 on the SEMA contest so the car needs to have a photo shoot done this weekend to get photos ready for the next stage. So a couple of busy weekends before it gets loaded into the trailer for fun time out east.
