**Cruise On Central** (October 2014)

Hey everyone! Its me again haha. Some of you might know Juve (Juve88GTA) and I, had started up a Arizona 3rd Gen Club. Our first meet on south mountain back in March, had gone better than expected to we figured we would give the club thing a shot. We both advertised saying that we wanted to have a decent number of people out to cruise on central, but it was pretty much just Firehawk, Juve and I.(I saw you out there Rod). During the summer it was way to hot to even want to try something so we didn't. Well i think we can do alot better this time. If you a truly interested in good spots, than we diffidently need to get there decently early. As stated in my "Possible Meet" Thread, Rod has a good point of the cars starting to come in around 830ish. Let me know what you guys think about for trying to get an actual presence there. If you have not already, we do have a facebook page.

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AZ3RDGENS

Also my friend makes decals for his race cars so if you interested in a Club Decal ($5) please state so in your post. They look like this:Name: ee8242c5-443f-44b2-92b9-064a817acefe_zpsfe8ddfe4.jpg

Re: **Cruise On Central** (October 2014)

Used to be tons of fun, lived all over Phx in the early 80's, Central was fun back then...I also noticed awhile back on another forum (The HAMB) that some old HotRodders have been having at it for quite some time.

Lived at Arby's down by Tomas every Friday and Sat night trying to drum up a race in my 78 Camaro.

Good times!

Re: **Cruise On Central** (October 2014)

No way im missing it. I hope driving up there in the DD (civic SI) doesn't get me.

The formy has been down, and unless I had the proper tools/space/time/money/skills it would make an appearance.

hey 89firehawk, is the hawk your selling real? I am pretty sure they only made the firehawk with the third gen body for one year only and that was 1992. I could be wrong.. if it is real how much are you asking?

Re: **Cruise On Central** (October 2014)

I plan on meeting inside of the main lot. AZ3RDGENS is a small thirdgen only club Juve and I started. We haven't been able to do much because of the heat and schedules. Here is the page that has a few pics from our first meet at southmountain. Also let me know if you are interested in the decal. There's a pic at the top of it on my car.

Re: **Cruise On Central** (October 2014)

Hey Hey! I wish I could be there! Right now I'm swapping out trannys and am having a new driveline made so my car is torn down...I'm hoping to have it done in a week or so...but my problem is I live in Lakeside (190 miles NE of Phoenix) And the way I have my car geared I'd have to fill up 3 times just to get down there! HAHA! Still may try to make it, but don't know for sure. If I'm there I will look you guys up!

if there is no spots in the lot everyone should just meet on top of the parking garage on the back side of the main lot.. the west side on the second floor of the garage

Hey everyone! So i would like to roll up at 10am to help with holding spots and to claim mine but not sure about time yet (cones have to be removed by 10:30). What is everyone's thoughts right now? How many of you are actually wanting to park your car within the lot? I have Ven and Making down for decals, any one else interested? Also does anyone have cones to set down?

Re: **Cruise On Central** (October 2014)

Been looking at the car today. It is far from show worthy. Droopy headliner, torn seats, bad paint, etc etc. Most definitely not show-offable. So, I don't know if I will make it or not.

Re: **Cruise On Central** (October 2014)

It doesn't have to be all dolled up. If you could make it, it would show a stronger support from the 3rd gen community. Ive seen some cars that were far from "Show Quality" And those cars still were well represented. Another good thing is that you don't have to show it off at all. You could cruise it up and down the street.

Don't worry if your car looks sexy.. does it run? THEN RUN THAT THING....haha mine is not show worthy but you bet I will toast my tires on Central to show my third gen love , and even if we can't be toasty because of the fuzz we will be able to show the car scene that these are pony cars and we as a third gen click will show up with them and show them off ugly or not

It does run, its a hybrid! It burns a combination of gas and oil. . Ok, I will be there. Gonna leave early saturday morning and hope to be in Phoenix by 830ish. I will NOT be roasting any tires (to expensive, and I still will have to drive home). Are we gonna meet somewhere and roll up in force or just stagger in?

Re: **Cruise On Central** (October 2014)

I found a meeting spot for those interested in rolling in together. It is a few minutes away from the show. Please let me know if you are interested in rolling in together. Vea since you are coming from Tucson, i would imagine you would like to roll in with someone

That would be cool. My father is going to follow me up with his truck (just in case) so he will need a place to park it for the day.

Re: **Cruise On Central** (October 2014)

Well i was talking about cruising into the show. I have an address to a car wash that is down the street. Also the Address for where the show actually is, is this :3110 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85012. I think it would be cool to have a few of us ride in together.

Also my friend makes decals for his race cars so if you interested in a Club Decal ($5) please state so in your post. They look like this:

I have a 305 in my Firebird and was wondering how much HP I can get out of it. I know everyone says to upgrade to a 350 but I want to know what I can get a HP up to in my 305 with upgrades?

I'll meet you here: Its a car wash. I should be there around 930-945. I think it would be god to meet here. You are still interested in a decal correct? https://www.google.com/maps/place/Lo...5c71c8e9432b2e
