The car in question is an ?f87 Trans Am (with WS6, rebuilt 5.0 TPI engine with a serpantine belt setup, auto trans rebuilt to corvette specs by Don L. and much much more)
Hey everyone, it?fs Jay from the former SC3GFB. As I?fm sure most of you have heard, my trans am is being considered a total loss by the insurance company. I have hired a lawyer, but the car is about to be signed over to the insurance company. I am going to purchase the car back from the insurance co. and part it out. Due to lack of space at my home, I'm looking for someone willing to pay for towing the car from the storage area to their house/shop and storing it there for 30 days or until I can sell the parts I want to sell. I will allow the person to have any of the parts that are NOT listed below such as: the engine, recently rebuilt transmission, headers, full exhaust, suspension (including eibach pro-kit, sub-frames, wonder bar, WS6, etc) PLUS, the person will have first choice of the parts for sale listed below.
All the following parts are for sale:
ASCD Ram Air Hood (need some sanding and touch up): $275
Pontiac ?gPMD?h Seats (recovered in blk/wht vinyl): $500 for the pair
Rear seats and backrest (same style as PMD Seats): $300
Grant PONTIAC steering wheel: $20
Trans Am Gauge cluster with white face gauges installed: $50
Gauge pos cluster with two gauges (boost and water temp): $40
99 6-speed Console with power window buttons mounted in ashtray: $60
Headliner in white vinyl: $65
Sail panels in white vinyl: $25
Door panels in black and white vinyl: $85
Edelbrock 3pt strut tower brace: $75
155amp police package alternator and mounting bracket: $200
Accel 300+ digital ignition system and harness: $200
*All the vinyl recovered interior pieces are like new, the car was barely driven since they were installed

unfortunatly my insurance company is being real difficult.....but the accident wasn't my fault so the lawyer is going after the other person's insurance who should be the one paying anyways.
The consol is still there, nothing has been sold yet. Whoever agrees to store the car will have first choice of the parts for sale but if h/she doesn't want the center console, it's yours. Personally, i'de rather the so cal people buy the parts since there would be less shipping and whatnot to deal with.

Let me know how much you want for the transmission if the person storing it doesnt want it. We are looking to buy another house or otherwise I could store it for you.

the tranny, probably 800 (including torque convertor) Don rebuilt this last year (it doesn't have much mileage on it as i was in japan for 6 months and even when i was here, the car wasn't in constant use.) with a really high quality shift kit and built it to corvette specs. It's the strongest tranny I've ever felt.
I also forgot to mention is has a 10-bolt, 3.27 rear end with posi and disc brakes. (also free to whoever stores the car)
I hope someone is willing to store the car....i would like to take care of this asap. you guys can get ahold of me at: digitalroo@digitalroo.nu

And I'll come and get it. Will Los Alamos be too far to try and part it out?
:hail: SOLD! to the man in Los Alamos!
I probably will only have to drop by once or twice and we can probably work out the actual parting out process so i'm not too worried about that, as long as you got the towing bill, the car is yours.
