Car: base firebird Engine: !LH0 -> tpi 350 Transmission: !700r4 -> t56 Axle/Gears: 3.23 10 bolt, posi | and the next one, which sounds like it'll be a big event (sponsored by slp with prizes) is gonna be in castaic... Quote: |
This is the unofficial announcement, I will confirm it sometime next week. Date is Sat. April 17th, there are no other shows or events that I know of, so that date is unlikely to change. I have been in contact with SLP, who wishes to retain main sponsorship (from what they have told me), along with other vendors. A car show with BIG prizes and lots of gifts for the raffle are in store. The location is Castaic Lake Lagoon, same lot as last year. A short cruise will follow, up Lake Hughes through the twisty canyon, to HWY 138, then to Pyramid Lake view point off of I-5. Let's get 200 cars this year and make this an annual event to kick off the season. Hope to see everyone there!

Car: 1986 Trans Am Engine: yes, the car has one. Transmission: yep, one through four | Yeah the SouthBay cruise we had early last summer was good, and the Southbay cruise we had Late last summer was better, so this SouthBay cruise should be the best. i had it posted first on fbodyaddict.com fist to see if we could get some of them, and wow, we got a good responce from them. So, between them and US here at thirdgen and SC3G, we will have a great turnout!
see ya all on Saturday the 20th @ 9:00 Sharp. |

| Hi guys!
No, I won't be in town this weekend! Next weekend though! Did anyone say Texas Loosey's??
Having a blast out here!
Just went to Arizona DMV today for the 20th TTA!
What a great state!
Inspection: The guy looked at the vin, and milage! I asked if he wanted to look under the hood? No!
I go in to pay for the fees.
In California, smog every two years! Here, none!
In California, $105 per year to tag. Here, $38.50 for two years!
In Californa, weather? Who cares? Here, mid 80s!
Oh ya, the speed limit on the freeways here is 75mph!
Last Friday night, went to Bullhead and ate at the buffet at the Flamingo Hotel. It was shrimp night! I'm talking about the shrimp the size of your hand with your fingers around it! I have never ate so much shrimp in my life! Man, the things you find out in the desert!
I'm already known throughout town! Mister Trans Am! I get guys from across town driving over here to view my stuff already! I can't get anything done! You guys gotta see some of the rods out here! The guy next door has a great one!
There was a PT Cruiser river run at the river here over this last weekend!
And the Route 66 run is the end of April!
You all should plan a run out here to visit me! I can fit all your cars in the back yard! Uh, the Camaros park out front!
Cars, cars, cars! This is car heaven!
Have a fun cruise!! Take tons of pictures!
Talk with some out you guys soon!
Later,
George

| Well Alex,
Two towns over would be back in California!
I figured that when everyone saw Camaros out front, they would think it's a ******* party!
But then again, there are a few out here as well!
Having fun,
George

BTW, nice photoshopping on your sig... turned out real nice (that's one o' my favorite filters). Just don't tell our fearless moderator about it's huge file size. |

Car: '88 GTA Engine: 5.7 TPI, fed growth hormones Transmission: 700r4 4u2? | My GTA is scattered all over the garage, subframe connectors fabbed and going on, replacing a fender and hood, deleting the A/C, and starting to get some body work done. A smart person would do one at a time...
I will show up in my, uh, younger F body. Please don't throw rocks. It will be really cool to meet you guys.

Car: 1991 GTA Engine: maybe Transmission: maybe not Axle/Gears: the original 3.23 | Great cruise guys! I think we needed a couple more third gens but it was fun. I can still smell burning rubber. I've already scanned in some photos, except for the middle part of the cruise. Yeah I got turned around on Crenshaw for just a couple blocks. It was that souvenir boot...
Ok, sorry about that. You can find the pictures here and I will update with the rest and 4th gen pics tomorrow http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/556930

I hate it when that happens ). Beautiful area to cruise through, and the sound of all those V8's togther was just music!
