Tonight when I was driving my Z. I stoped and put it in park on a hill and it rolled back I have never had this problem before. The tranny is almost new along with the T/C. It dosn't do it in any other gears?
I'm not sure, but I think all automatic transmissions use a pin and a paul (spelling?) to lock things up in the park position. If the small pin breaks, you loose park. Dyno Don knows a lot more about this than I do.
A streached Shifter Cable will do that. Also you can slightly adjust the cable at the transmission by loosening the nut on the cable to shifter arm and slide it further back to make it go all the way into park. Best of Luck!!!
