Next year we (SC3G) need to cut out and make a stop at A&W.
Lon | The Be Cool has done wonders for my cooling problems but I never expected it to work miracles. If I had my old stall converter I am sure the temp would have been much better, I still would like to upgrade the fans, but at any rate I think the SS will be the cruiser. Unless of course like I said that kind of cruise would be at a cooler time of the day or year
I also second the turn off at A&W, heck I think it would be a blast to attack that mountain on a dawn run and then have lunch at the bottom |

Car: 90 RS 'Vert, 88 IROC-Z, 88 Firebird Formula (just acquired!) Engine: 305 ci tbi, 305 ci tpi, 305 ci tpi Transmission: WC-T5, WC-T5, 700R4 Axle/Gears: 3.45, 3.27, 3.27 | Oh I forgot to add. What makes someone think climbing out of their t-top to sit on the roof of the car at 70 mph is a cool idea? Of course you could guess it was a 4th genner.

I was really amazed with the performance of my clunker. Only once did I have to pull over... I think the altitude had finally gotten to my car as we began to start the descent; it just wouldn't get power in third gear. But after a moment of idling, she was raring to go again and it was smooth sailing 'til the end. My temp never got past 220 and mostly stayed in the 200 range. Way to go, me! :lala:

Car: 92 Trans Am Engine: still runs Transmission: is tired Axle/Gears: would help | I was right behind them, I backed off just in case he got blown off.
Anybody see the nut in the 4th Gen spinout on the other side of the lake? I came thru just after it happened, they were out of the car and the girl looked pretty shook up. |

There was also a green nitrioused LT1 that smoked bad when cold.
What happened with the forth gen that spun out?
Lon your RS looks really nice, I'm a big fan of 3rd gen verts.
8T8Iroc, your interior looks nice. Who did your seats? I don't know if you noticed on the last leg, the group with some 4th gens up front, the Z06, you, an '86 Iroc ,me ,the formula vert pulled away from the rest of the pack pretty fast. It took them a few minutes for them to catch up after we slowed down. I also saw when you were playing with the bike . Was the 86 iroc Vincent?

Donna also had the 'bright' idea to keep climbing out of the window and filming around the corners, needless to say that would be without her seatbelt fastened |

I was hoping that we would get more of chance to pull away but I was concerned that I would be tailgating too, I just decided to give the guys on the bimmer bikes some fun
I actually installed the interior myself, not very difficult of course it is all from a 97 TA. I purchased them for a 92 25th Anniversary RS Convertible that I had, which had the carmine red leather interior. However we sold the vert and I sold my IROC's 'old' leather interior so I installed all the red seats. Next I want to do door panels and then it's time for paint and rims |

Car: Red 86 Z28 Engine: 355cu 5.8Liter Transmission: G-Force T5 Axle/Gears: 3.70 | My trans started making a loud noise after I got home from the cruise. It's time for a rebuild. I can't afford to buy the one I want now so I have to settle to get mine rebuilt. |

I have a 2% success rate of getting a 1.8X 60', 35% at a 1.9X 60', and 63% at a 2.0X 60', which leaves me to a 0% success rate at a <1.8 60' time. |

Car: Moving... Engine: Running... Transmission: Shifting... | That's correct, I take complete responsibility for building the right combination. That is how I avoid broken autos and several blown clutches While getting 60' that are competitive.

Car: Moving... Engine: Running... Transmission: Shifting... | I said 'right' combination, not perfect. If all I was focused on was making enourmous power, I would have a huge shot of NOS and a completely cast low compression setup |

Car: 2006 C6 Z06 (Black) Engine: LS7 Transmission: T-56 | If you were running N2O then I'd bet you'd have no/low compression in no time..just like your friend with the blower and N2O setup |

Hopefully once I figure the computer tuning portion I will be able to make my 60's equate to faster times. |
