got my '84 Z28 about a month ago and fell in love...been coming to the boards for the past week and decided to join up...i was wondering if anybody knows about any good PAP yards besides Ecology in the sd area...ecology was pretty slim pickins when i went there last...
Down in the Chula Vista area there's three yards. There's an Ecology and a pick a part off Nirvana Ave, and another Ecology up the road about 5 miles in Otay Mesa. The pick a part is by far the best of the three. Plus they have half off sales about every six weeks. There is also a yard off Hwy 76 in Oceanside, not sure if it's a pick a part or Ecology. Between all those places you should have all you need for your ride.

If you pass up the ecolology and go down to the end of the road, you'll see pic a part on the right side. Also if you're looking for forth Gen goodies (seats, etc.) they have a primo yard with newer stuff. Only thing is they charge an extra 2 bucks to enter the primo yard.

where is that? I go to chula all the time for the ecology yards but never saw that one one??

i just went there today...it is past ecology almost before the road ends and is called ~el pulpo~ i believe...it is on the right side and i found an excellent dash pad for $19 and some change...i didn't go into the primo yard though...i will one day when i'm ready for some 4th gen seats...

sick man I go all the time to the other yards, we should have a get together from everyone in the area and go to the yards

that sounds like an awesome idea. i've been thinking about making a thread for anyone who wants to go to the yards. i'd be down to go almost any weekend. even if i don't need anything it'd still be nice to pick some brains and learn some things...
