I am very interested in your car for sale. I was in Tarzana yesterday at my cousin's house, he has a race built 1985 Corvette. Some Vette master engine builder in the valley took his 5.7 TPI and turned it into way big HP. It's got expensive black paint and blacked out glass roof and windows all around and dark grey interior. Total HiPerformance engine. It's out and about quite a bit. I love that car. I also am smitten by Camaros from the 1980s. It seems to me you have done major work on your car. I think it rocks. I saw all the photographs at cardomain. You're avatar window says Van Nuys, is the car in Van Nuys?
Maybe I could get more money together. Still have to get rid of a SAAB 900 that I have.
What's it like riding nearly two inches lower? Any tire rub with the 17X8's?

yeah i live in van nuys and yes that is where the car is. just to let you knwo the vette motor is not in the car and its taken apart right now like in the pics on my site. the rims are 16x8 and one wheel rubs a little but nothing bad(just scraping against plastic) let me know

Hey, Thanks for posting back. I am gathering funds. IF it goes before I can get the scratch together I will cry. IF I can get the 64K miles Saab 900S 1993 with 5speed out of the driveway I could get my wife to let me spend up to right around 5K or so. Got a guy coming to see the 900 tomorrow. I will let you know. Did assume the '85 Corvette engine was not in the Camaro. I saw all the photos. I really dig the car just the way it is.
I guess the 16X8s with the 1&3/4 drop must work perfectly. Don't know why I thought it was 17 inchers. Maybe I could stop by and just take a look. Let me know.
